The early 70's Deville/Fleetwood series have really grown on me in the past year or two. I love the body style and the dash layout. Would be a Cadillac I'd love to own. Loads of good high def pics of a '71 CDV www.mcsmk8.com/71-CAD/71-CAD.html

That's way cool! -- Do you like the 1973+ Toronados? Gorgeous automobiles.

I've always liked them. They had the same platform as the Riviera and Eldorado. I always notice lots of similarities between the cars. The first generation Toronado is a lot like the '67-'70 Eldorado. Here's a gorgeous '68 Eldorado owned by a Cadillac enthusiast. I love the design of these cars. Very unique. Here's a '66 Toronado Matt Garrett owned www.mcsmk8.com/66-TORO/66-TORO.htmlThe '79-'85 Toronado was very similar to the '79-'85 Eldorado. Olds Cadi Here's another angle of the 7th gen Eldo. I fall more in love with this body style every time I see it.

Your lucky to find a clean car at that price! I check on LesPac today and found a Jetta 1998 with only 98000km! I would like to buy that but the price is 2500$ I'll wait a few months...

There's this store in Stockholm that I've been meaning to visit for quite some time now, and today I finally did. Found this little gem and just had to buy it. Fantastic quality. Scale is 1:43. EDIT Sorry for double post, meant to put it in my first one. If an admin can merge it, please.

That model is cool! I used to love collecting those when I was younger. I've got a stash of them boxed away somewhere. Those old Town Car's are awesome.
Glad the Brougham is safe and sound. Post up more pics when you get a chance.

Only two pictures for now as it's getting dark. But here it is, just cleaned and all. Yeah, new plates are on the way, those old taxi ones look stupid. I've only driven it a few miles but my god what a fantastic car to drive. Solid as an anvil too. The 5,7 gets up and goes for such a big car.

That is really fantastic. The taxi plates do look a bit odd but anything that isn't Queensland - Sunshine State is weird to me. As for that Honda, Tom, you got a pretty good deal on that for sure. The only thing I'd recommend changing would be the $2 Autozone hubcaps to some nice Honda OEMs. It's just a minor personal thing but I always like cars with their original, or at least the same manufacturers wheels to aftermarket. Alloy wheels or hubcaps alike.

Enough about old 4 Doors, how about the new Viper! Viper was gone for a year or so. No longer a Dodge Product, instead it is fully owned and developed by SRT, which as you know has helped with Dodge products. SRT also worked with Ferrari on the design to make it the best Viper ever made. The GTS name has came back too, there are 3 models, SRT Viper, SRT Viper GTS, and SRT Viper GTS-R, which is a race car. Check it out, badass car that I will own some day. www.drivesrt.com/srt-viper/

After that being fixed, I'll probably go on with some esthetics

Any work done lately on the Mercedes, Mitch? I felt so ashamed when I read this that I hadnt done anything useful to it in at least a month besides run the parts car for about 10 minutes to free the brakes and charge the battery. But no problem because I immediately went outside, took the broken AC compressor off the partmobile so I could take the alternator and install it on the eventual road going car. Now I have some electricity flowing I can try and get around to reinstalling the rad since the front is mostly straightened up. Thanks for the motivation. Post again in another 24 hours so I can go out there and get some more done.

Must be nice being able to find parts for your car. I've been trying to find those god damn interior door panels for my dad's roadmaster for like a year now. What a bitch of a car to get parts for. Literally the closest place that has one is in washington state in some junkyard. And I'm pretty sure that was a woody wagon with the gross sand color interior.

EDIT: Last part on Deville's history, A 2003, visable as a DHS from the lack of a hood ornament and dark colored grill

Even though cadillac will always be a nice car, I do find that the modern design (after '99) is pretty boring. There is no more class in the exterior, no more fun or recognizable details, which I find a shame. Even the concours had a half covered rear wheel and looked sleek as fuck.

Literally the closest place that has one is in washington state in some junkyard. And I'm pretty sure that was a woody wagon with the gross sand color interior. I had to buy the whole second car for the parts I needed. It cost me 500 bucks to buy it in full running order with the only issues a bit of rust and some oil leaks. To buy an individual headlight alone is 400 bucks, let alone all the other shit I'd need like the hood, left fender, bumper and so on. Plus now I have a spare everything if something breaks, and I got an original 1982 first aid kit that was included in the car from the factory, still sealed. I dont think I'll be using it but it's pretty neat to have.
