no offence but i like the gauges, id really like to see how hot my rears or my trans is getting during a hard pull..... Pssh everybody knows that a real trucker can get lost looking at his dashboard ;D No but really all the gauges are nice, you can literally tell when something is about to go wrong with almost anything on your truck... thats what we have lcd displays for.

Chrome guages look better. And they're more reliable most likely. And cost less to fix, guaranteed. Less of a hassle. Less distracting. To check the oil pressure all I gotta do is turn my head. I got no problem having to look at guages, even if there's 20 of them. From experience with cars, most of it is just faulty garbage.
Hey mike, is that a coronado you were driving?

I just read this thread for the first time and I have to say it's really good reading. I have a question for you all to. I work on a tugboat and I do the same thing, hauling shit around. Would you guys be cool if I posted pics of that? I'll post one to show you what they are like.

That's alot of rubber on the front of that thing... My guess is, the mass amount of rubber on the front allows it to push barges and what not without sustaining damage. I would be interested in seeing pictures from a tugboats perspective though. Always wondered what they looked like inside.

It's because when they put a barge into its berth they push on it and all the rubber keeps it from rubbing metal and metal and beating the shit outta everything. It's also because that's a river boat and the put a lot of barges in and out of berths instead of just towing for days up the coast.

GOD, Your street's / highway's are small as fuck! Please tell me you aren't serious... everything in those pics are around average to slightly big except for the last picture, but that's cuz of roadworks by the looks of it. Unless it's just me thinking that and that is actually what everyone else sees as "small as fuck", to me that just looks like a major-ish road
