My version of truckin pictures lol These are the pictures from last nights shift. There would be more but it wasn't half as busy as the night before. First shots are of the Bearing straits, another boat for the company I work for. She's pulling an empty gravel barge. She's blowing by us because its got double the power of the boat I'm on. The sea-link dock. That company looks like a scapyard. Us heading up river towing 2 empty wood chip barges with Pattullo Bridge in the background. The inside of the boat. There would be outside picture, but I forgot lol. I'll take some tonight. Are winch system-I hate the one on this boat. This is the J.R.W. coming down with a loaded chipper. Another boat from my company. A shot of the Barnston Island Slough, we are taking on of our emptys to one of the mills and the other one to a tie-up at the top of the Island. Last shot for the night that actually worked alright. Same Slough, different spot on the way down again. I'll take more tonight and post them when I get some time if you guys like them.

Got some more from last nights shift. I may have to start my own thread if I keep getting so many pics. We were in a big rush so I didn't have time to take a picture of our boat. Seaspan Tempest tied up at 192nd street. Centurion IV-the ferry over to Barnston Island Seaspan Venture in front of Fraser-Surrey docks. Sister ship to the Tempest. 2 empty chippers. The Granny hutch towing a paper barge headed into Sylvan. Seaspan Scout Running light up the river. I had to take a picture of this one just to tell you it's called "The Big Johnson" The company Dock The Hustler II is closest and the Smit Princess is the Bigger one. The Storm Coaster is on the far side but you can't really see it rotting tied to the dock forever. Seaspan Protector on the left, Seaspan Scout on the right. Getting ready to shift the the rail barge I think. Couple of scenic shots of New Westminster/Burnaby Couple of sidewinders used for loading ships with logs so that cheap chinese workers can make paper out of them for "cheaper" than canadians. (I'm not bitter lol) The hunter tied up to her paper barge. Probably waiting for a second one to be loaded at Sylvan. Those assholes on the Bearing Straits headed way up river with the cushy job. We're pulling out of timberland headed up behind them with an empty gravel scow. A nice shot of the pattullo bridge from the south. Green barges in the middle is the bearing straits. They have nearly double the power so they blow us out of the water. Lastly Us spinning a load of gravel out of Stones tie-up headed for #5 road. Little did we know that the empty coming out of 5 rd would be late and we would have to wait for 2 hours and work a full shift. There won't be anymore tomorrow because we worked ourselves out of tonight's shift. Hopefully more this weekend.

Knapton, awesome shots! That Sea-link yard has ALWAYS reminded me of a junkyard whenever I go by on Front street, lol. That's like where that Amix barge or whatever always parks too right? And I have the funniest/weirdest story I'll have to tell you sometime about the Barnston Island ferry. Keem em' coming man!

So I have a few new ones from last night, but not a lot because we were busy yarding barges for the first 3 hours of the shift. After 4 days I finally took some of the boat I'm on. It's an alright boat but it has about half the power of the other ones. Stuck using the spare boat because one of the others blew an engine. The end of our dock-storm coaster on the left and the smit princess on the right. Fraser surrey port on the right and new westminster on the left I got a few good shots of west tug bringing in a ro-ro ship. West tug is a division of Smit, the company I work for This is the westminster chinook I`ve never ship docked so I`m not sure what they do back there The westminster pride. A blurry shot of Burnaby/New West- It looked nicer in life lol That was the last shift of the week so I don't know when I'll work next and there will be more.

Went with my dad yeterday, and surprisingly, the truck he was on(his truck was in the shop), ACTUALLY HAD A 2ND SEAT! So I was riding legally which was kind of cool. And, besides that, usually he starts later, so if I go with him, pictures don't turn out, but he started early yesterday so it was like light out. Passing Trimac.... And pretty much a shitload of mirror shots...LOL! === === I always laugh when I see this thing. Just looks dumb to me... Alex fraser bridge... === Mr. Flying J. Behold, the luxurious Sterling interior! Atleast the seats half decent.... A few of the island brokers trucks. Rollin' out with the second load. === === Sorry if they suck or they're boring and repetitive. I was just excited for the pics to actually turn out.
