Sounds like a plan for sure! What's your plans paint wise? When I get everything on it while I'm waiting to assemble the frame, I'm going with a primer black. When it's all said and done, with the Double Eagle on, 320' WB and ready to go, either gloss black or midnight blue with the 2-tone 359 style swoop with the swoop stretched out across the Double Eagle. Frame will be rhino lined blue. Sounds good, smart idea rhino lining the frame. I believe the Lead Sled and the other Sweet Rides Logistics trucks have a lot of rhino lining on them too. ive always wanted to build up an old Pete 379EXHD day cab, with the paint scheme of the copper/rust color on the new F250s with cream accents separated by dark gold pinstriping. I really like Chad Blackwells truck with the 359 dash with 06+ gauges and rocker switches incorporated into it. Do you plan on a matching trailer to go along with it?

The oil PSI and water temp gauges are darker than the rest for some reason. They're that way on all 359's that I know of. The air cleaner gauge doesn't even have a light for some dumbass reason, the clock light I don't think is getting a good ground, and I need 2 more for the rear end temp gauges and I'll call it good. Gonna get some gauge labels (the chrome ones that stick to the gauges) and the bezels. Do the bezels stick to the gauges themselves or to the dash? If they stick to the dash I might just wait until I get the rockwood dash installed. That's what $88 of LED's looks like. I still need another pack. I bought all they had too...

Mine snapped on the bezel some are just a tight fit, ive never heard of needing adhesive on the dash itself but some guys use just a touch on the bezel

Some of the updates from the last few weeks include gettin it to idle right where I don't have to play with the high idle to keep it running. I've also got the tail lights and turn signals fixed and the ground issue with the left rear signal. I've added a little bit more interior chrome, rebuilt the fan clutch (if I don't have pictures of it posted already). That was a bitch. But an $80 seal kit is worlds better than a $900 replacement. I think my AC just might be low on freon. The compressor works and the bottom half of the core starts to sweat. Other than that, nothing is going on until I put my big tanks and new boxes on. But that's coming after tires. Major progress might be kinda delayed for a bit on account of i might be buying a 1990 T600. 425 Air to air B model, 18 speed and a 110" Double Eagle. If I get it, I'm taking the B model and the 18 out and swapping them for my A model and 13 that are in my 359 now. I'm taking the DE off and sell it as a Daycab. My ideas are solid, it's just getting the funding to accomplish it. But hey, big trucks are big bucks lol #RealLifeModding

You'd need a frame strech on your 359. did you ever think about that?

He's getting all new rails that are the correct length eventually. He's probably not even going to worry about the DE before then.

Say no to cheap freight! Hillbilly, I haven't seen it in person yet but it looks like it. A guy I work with owns it and offered it to me before he put an ad out. It has all small hole aluminum wheels also, if the drives are better ill take them off and swap them out too lol. Worst comes to absolute worst, I'll have a good back up truck or a truck I can immediately jump out and go to work with.

Sweet that would be a good buy as is or for parts. I drove a 3406 B and 18spd yesterday day and really liked it.

I have a lot of updates but not tons of time anymore. I have to get all the pics off my old phone and upload onto my computer. I've seen the T6 in person now, It's damn good and for the most part road-ready besides just a few minor, under a few hundred dollar things. I've even used the 359 to pull a few storage trailers a buddy of mine (the guy with the T6) owns. That got me $500 off the T6 and it only cost me a few hours and about $100 of diesel.
I'll get me shit together and post some in the near future.

Sorry, wasn't trying to sound like a dick. I've been talking to him for quite some time about it and other things about his truck, and I should drive up and see it one of these days, but anyway I was just saying I think he's found what he was looking for.

I bought a complete set of 8 used 24.5's from a tire shop in MO for a grand, I go pick them up this weekend. I halfass polished my tanks since my buffer quit on me. I really need to get some pics up, the truck looks quite a bit different now with more LED's and more things polished. I'm also about to order my Valley Chrome bumper. I think I'm getting an 18" stainless boxed end with 15 2" lights across the bottom, swinging plates and front flaps with flap weights. Hopefully while I'm at the Wilkins show September 18th, 19th and 20th I'll be getting Vortox air cleaners.
