The game is pretty hard on config's, you need a pretty decent one to run it maxed out. Although, at "high" settings it's very playable.

The map in this game is huge. I've beat it twice on PS3 and this is my second playthrough on PC and I still never have any idea where I'm going.

Thanks man. Nice pics yourself. Odly enough, I was thinking of playing this game last night. Haven't played since I posted those pics. It's a really cool game. Atmospheric and sucks you in. I saw the actor who played Roy in a few TV shows since I played this game, and I always laugh now when I think of his character. Adam Harrington www.imdb.com/name/nm0364227/

So it's that a good game compare to GTA4? Can you just drive and explore the map or you just do missions??! What's is the pros and cons? The city is great, and its a wonderful representation of the time period. the actual missions are kinda meh. Mostly guessing, and looking EVERYWHERE for clues. so you can drive and explore, and find collectibles, like new cars, and every so often there is a street crime you can respond to. but the game doesn't support AA well, and the much-touted interrogation scenes are a real drag imho. if you want to buy it, get it cheap (less than $10, 10 max)

But between 2 missions can you just move and explore the city(I don't know if I'm wrong but you can enter in 70% of the building, right?)

But what is the game I heard that you can enter in 70% of the building? It was supposed to be Mafia II, but it didn't quite ended up that way.

But I have a question to you Tom! What's the best between Mafia II and L.A Noire? What's the pros and cons?

Most people either love or hate the Mafia games. Well maybe hate is a strong word. For one thing, to be fully enjoyed, you can't beat them on PC. The Mafia port to PS2 was a shitbox fail. Mafia II on consoles is nothing compared to on PC. I've actually been playing Mafia II lately.
If I had to choose one game over the other (based on PC versions) I'd pick Mafia II. The reasons for this are:
Graphics/physics (Maxed out on PC this game looks stunning, still two years later) More dramatic/movie-like story (IMO) More detailed world 1000000x better and funner driving portions (All cars are a blast to drive like a maniac in, especially the 1950's cars. This is largely in part due to Nvidia Physx) Soundtrack (The music in Mafia II is fucking epic)
Having said that, LA Noire is still a great game. It's different, and the gritty story will keep you hooked. Plus the motion capture is pretty cool. Mafia II could also use some work. But overall it's an amazing game, just don't expect it to be GTA in any way, shape or form. Nor LA Noire for that matter. You just really have to play both games to really pick which one better suits you.
