I'll go ahead and get the discussion going for those who wanna go ahead and start talkin bout it. Just don't get so out of hand with the conversations that a moderator has to step in.

Is there a set location like other shows, or is it just anywhere?

It's not really the same, I could just post the only 3 pics I have of the W900L since it's my most current truck, but it still bothers me that it's not done yet.

Will the Haulin' and GTS screenies be in separate competitions, or together?

I hope separate because of the graphics difference.

I hope separate because of the graphics difference. If people well kids vote for a truck soley based on the graphics card then they will be here voting for the wrong reason. This is not a contest about how good your graphics card is its about how badass your truck will look. Dont be discouraged because your graphix's are not the best. Show me your modding skills and your ability to make a beast of a truck and you will get my vote!! and are passenger trucks allowed? What the hell is a passenger truck?

its pretty sad when we start judging ones modding ability by the amount of jaggies they have or if their paint jobs are pixelated..
and by passenger trucks you mean pickups im gonna say no..have to ask colonel and aaron though it's their gig

Well I don't think it'd be too bad of an idea to have some pickups there too, but that's only because I have a screen or two of an old one that I converted 2 years ago. If not that, then I also have another truck that'll probably fit in the specialty class. I may be using oldies, but only because I still have them and I haven't entered them in any shows before.

I was actually hoping we could enter with ET2 vehicles too

I'm hoping people will look past the graphics difference and give both equal votes.

@ DR. Kenworth, i think that would fall under the specialty class @ Bora, i think thats a good idea, what does everyone else think? @ dan, the competitions are together. I don't want them to be separate because of the graphics difference. i want people to convert their trucks to gts because it has better graphics. I don't expect them to convert for this show but i want them to see what they are missing and try to convert.

Include extreme trucker 2 aswell. It has pretty close to the same graphics features as GTS.

I'd say you should just open the competition to all games, and let the best trucks win!

I say that idea isn't very good because most other games have better graphics than Haulin'

Sort of agree with Dan I say that idea isn't very good because most other games have better graphics than Haulin' Then convert to a newer game and increase the quality of your truck

It boils down to if you are judging based on the quality of the truck, or the quality of the screenshot. A "screenshot of the year" based on graphics or whatever seems like a good idea, but the winner of the best truck competition should be the guy with the coolest rig, not the guy with the most advanced shaders or jaggies. Perhaps voting guidelines should be established to remind people of that.
