i heard otherwise, well for owner/operators anyway. everyone tries to bid on those turbine loads and when you deliver you dont even have enough fuel money to get back to the factory that makes them to reload.

Then get your freinds fact's straight seems like your mistaken..It takes alot of fuel to power those loads. If you know how trucking works you'd know that after deductions each year he would be left with less than 100k a year..That's with all costs fuel etc..

Be gay somewhere else man, we don't want to hear about 'your buddy' in this topic. Anyway, yesterday and today I've been driving an almost brand new 16t truck. Two of our 4.5t rentals broke down, and they didn't have any to replace them with, so they fixed one (was a simple problem), and gave us this 8 pallet truck as a replacement for it in the time being. Lucky I got the licence for this thing, nobody else does. ;D It's pretty nice, only a year old, 20,xxx KM, air seat, air brakes, cruise control, awesome A/C and a diesel fridge for the back. It's nice not having to worry about a) leaving the truck running and possibly getting stolen, or b) worrying about turning it off and locking it up, and having a temp spike. Too bad they took it back 10 minutes after I finished...
