You need to come over here and see roadworks... they have a knack for not leaving enough room on corners and turns for anything bigger than a car. Our method: just run over the cone or get out and move it. Construction workers have no concept of large vehicles such as trucks and buses. "What's the problem, you could get a truck around there!", "have you ever driven one? NO, so STFU" *carries on*

Lol shit, yeah it looks chaotic in the pic. I remember around here in Boston with the "big dig" someone was crushed when a steel beam fell on their car. They also found a lot of unsafe beams and shit supported by duct tape...
You should take us some more pics of that, just don't get yourself killed ;D

And scraping it won't damage the barrier, instead just rub the metal.

"What's the problem, you could get a truck around there!", "have you ever driven one? Trying to drink coffee is a bit of a b*tch too, you only want a sip then you go over a patch and you end up with a mouth full of steaming black coffee down your face... And Luke your right, all the B roads are just wide enough to fit two trucks on, just. When we did fridge work it was a b*tch going around corners with a 45ft trailer on the back, especially in wales going down the road to Milford Haven.

We have plenty down here that you can't even do that... barely a car past a truck. Sometimes not even that.
Anyway, back to the topic...
