May as well post this one. It's from last year, after washing it. Nothing has really changed on it since then. It's actually been through a lot last year since my dad's Expedition's been out of commission. Hit 200,000 miles in September on the way back from one of the multiple 320 mile round trips to the mountains I made last summer. Still got a few things left to do on it before I get it inspected again. Damn that thing is clean Jon garage kept? Or don't get snow where you are lol

Nope and nope. I live in Southeastern PA, pretty typical winters here. The 10+ inches snow we got last month finally melted this past weekend, as a matter of fact. Take a look at the post I made 2 years ago on the previous page (a few more posts up from the bottom), that's how it looked when I bought it. I did a ton of work to it since then and still have a ways to go. I still need to address a few rust spots and repaint it since the clearcoat is peeling on the roof, and there's a bunch of deep scratches on the hood. What you see now is the result of a 2 stage clearcoat polish and all the faded plastic either restored or replaced.
The interior is immaculate though, minus a ruined carpet in the back from me knocking over a jug of waste oil that leaked out of the cap, and a headliner beginning to sag. Both of which I can replace easily when I can justify spending the money.

I wish we had real cool SUVs like that over here as well, instead of bland crossovers which look like washing machines on wheels. May I interrupt the truckposting with my 2 small japanese cars. My daily driver is a Suzuki Swift Sport, 1.6cc 136hp, it's totally stock except coilovers. Small, light, very easy to drive, very easy to maintain and also fun to drive on tight mountain roads. And last summer I was finally able to replace my turbo Ford Escort with a 1991 Toyota MR2. This one was probably the last one I was able to find in my area in decent condition at a decent price, these things are getting very overpriced in my area. It has the 156hp N/A engine, feels a bit slow sometimes but I live near a few mountains with very tight roads so I don't need crazy horsepower numbers to have a little fun. It needed a new radiator when I got it, and last winter I was able to do a major suspension overhaul: coilovers, polybushes, brakes. It needs a new exhaust as well, and one day I'll take care of the paintjob since it's still the original one and it has lots of scratches.
