Not to tell you what you should have done or do to your vehicle but if you ever do it again just find a exhaust shop (a GOOD SHOP) and just have them bend you a full 4 or 5in system from the turbo back with no muffler or cat. Thats what we have done on our 6.4 and its a 5in but couldnt be happier with it than our mbrp on a 06 6.0 we have

Mine is 4", muffler shop cut the cat and muffler out and put a straight piece of pipe in, kept the rest of the exhaust.

Just saw some of you guys comments. The exhaust on my truck is 4" turbo back with a small muffler. Only way my parents would let me get it. We did a comparison with my cousins 6.0 that has the same exhaust =but no muffler and only difference is his turbo has a louder "sucking" noise. Good looking D-max Sam! I want one but they are a lil expensive with all the fuck boys wanting to turn them into sema trucks raising the damn value.

So someone wanna tell me why ford put a 4x4 hub on a 2wd vehicle? cause it's kinda redundant... Had to replace the front passenger side and went ahead and ordered the front driver side since they were out of that hub. Might as well replace that one too when it comes in since both have been on there since it was built. Knew something was up when I heard wining and saw the tires were all wearing even...

This truck had 370k-380K miles when they sold it, same engine, same trans, but the transfer case had a hole in the top of it so we replaced that. Wish I had the cash to buy that truck when they sold it. Maintenance was always kept up on, if it needed something it got it. It didn't smoke one bit nor did it sound off like some high mileage gasser trucks do. Was nothing for it to hook and go.
