xfire was the bomb but I feel discord/steam has replaced it pretty well

Xfire was my first real experience socializing with people on the internet. Made lots of friends and got involved in lots of arguments, lol. I learned how to type pretty fast within a few months of hanging out on that platform. I still have all the chatlogs from the old family pc dating back to 2008, every once in a while I take a read through a couple of them if I remember something I was talking about out of the blue.

Nowadays i don't want to talk to anybody, I haven't gone online on steam in over a year.

Im still mad at myself for not checking emails regularly like I do now, back when they warned us to download all our shit before they closed. I never kept all that stuff after uploading it because I needed all the hard drive space I could get.
