How's she goin guys and gals. i'm in the midst of tearing down and rebuilding my 350. I've found a few different issues while tearing it apart, and just want to make sure i'm not nuts for thinking it's harmless. it's an 89' block out of a 3/4 ton, the block casting number is LG GSI - 14093638. while i was tearing it down, i realized the thing had 2 different heads on it. drivers side was a 14102191, or in other words, a junk swirl port head with 76cc chambers. passenger side was a 14102193, which I've always known as a 305 head. 64cc chambers. would these two different heads fuck up the motor bad, since it'd be two different compression ratios? as well, once i tore the heads off, i discovered it was rebuilt and bored out .040. there's no sign of anything wrong in the bottom end or on the cylinders, and it's getting new heads anyways, but is there anything i should look for before putting new heads on, that might signify a full rebuild is in line? the motor seemed to run fine, you'd never know there were 2 different heads on it. I've never seen this before, any help would be great.
