Can somebody explain to me why I get an index overflow error with every modded truck I try to use? The stock trucks work fine, but any type of modded truck gives me an index overflow error. {Index Overflow Error} 15:13:34 : c:\devel\prism\src\p3core\collections/arrays/arrays_base_impl.h(1333): unknown fn: [array_t] boundary check failed - index overflow

If memory serves me, it has to do with how materials are setup. Double check to make sure all of your materials are setup properly.

I have checked the materials on all the trucks I have installed, and no issues anywhere. Big Joe told me it was either a material issue or an accessory issue, but none of the trucks have any accessories, and no material issues with any of them.

If it was just 1 truck it'd make sense, but not with every mod. Something has to be corrupt with your whole game.

I had the same problem due to my 388 and did a system restore. Couldn't figure it out what so ever, that's one option..

You did a system restore because of an index overflow? Hell you could have just reinstalled the game, and reinstalled mods one by one and figured out what was wrong... When you uninstall haulin/et2/gts/etc they don't delete the mods folders so the mods and everything are still there..

Yeah you do realise you can restore back to months ago, I never found a solution so I went from there. Plus no one ever gave me input here years ago lol. It's what noobs do ;D it worked I guess..

No, it's a pmg related problem and everyone ignores what I say when I explain what it means. Then again to be fair the posts I had on it were deleted when all the boards got changed. One of these days I'm going to have to do up a thread for explaining prism3d errors and what causes them, and how to fix them, this one especially. Unfortunately the only post I have that actually says what it means is from 2010 and doesn't really say much: Index overflow means objects in the pmg are assigned to materials that arent in the pmd..might wanna check your mats and then all your parts to make sure everything looks ok. There's more than 1 cause for it, but that's the most common cause. If it's a truck, don't export without the pmc and pmd boxes checked until you know what you're doing, if it's a trailer or something else then use the default material as one of the trailer's materials or the trailer's only material and it shouldn't cause any problems. From what I understand exporting without the collision boxes can cause this as well but I haven't seen that for myself. Also I think naming a parent node wrong like for the accessories can do that as well. Of course this is only based on the assumption that you got a model ingame and it caused this when you clicked on it. I love the search function. If it was every truck you use then the guy you're downloading from must be one really shitty modder to release them like that. But I assume you're modding them and took the risky shortcuts. Checking the pmd box on export will get rid of the error, but you'll probably end up with some useless materials in the pmd that you didn't previously have, so you'll have the glowing "shader not found" on some parts. Edit: You'll have to figure out which truck it was first, unless you only modded one of them and anyone else's work fine.
