You just set it up as a temporary transparent layer so that you know where to put stuff on the truck, then when you're done just delete the layer.

ok i did the skin now its super glossy is there a YT tutorial on how to ungloss it to regular paint?

You probably need to paste the gloss.png into the skin's alpha channel.

You know that small picture in the upper right corner of Dxtbmp? Well it's probably a white square right now, that's your alpha channel. It works the same way as the gloss.png. Double click that and youll be opening it in whatever editor you have. Open your gloss.png and copy that, then paste it into the alpha. Chances are you probably lost it while editing your skin. Remember to save as dds dxt5.
