Well since eveyone seems to be posting rebuilds and ect. I thought i'd show y'all my pain in the ass.... the problem begins with it not starting and rollin white smoke. The thought now is that it may have a combustion issue but we're not quite sure yet be here are some pictures. What i wasn't able to show was how nasty the oil/antifreeze was... lets just say the oil was black and the antifreeze turned a yellowish brown. pulled off the head and I can not tell you how rusted and crusted the coolent/oil ports were. and this is where I leave off for now.

did they try running it on ether? If they did and it ran, then its fuel issue, if not then happy rebuild for you

That one piston doesnt look up to par to begin with. IF its rolling white smoke its getting something to try and burn...weather it be diesel or oil(worst case). Check the piston rings and head, then check the injectors. Our roller with the 353 detroit had an issue where a injector was pouring diesel into the oil, overfilling the oil and it would almost lock the motor up till you got a jmp pack on it...thought it was a alternator issue at first

That one piston looks bad Like Mr. D said, if it ran on ether, its fuel issues. I would clean the coolant and oil chambers/ports up and remount the head on it and fire it up. You'd have a better idea where to start from, imo. Your coolant color you're trying to describe might be caused by an overheat as well... this may have cause some oil to get into the coolant and you know what's happening next!

sorry guys I haven't been replying much because I haven't really been in the section a while but we came down to the conclusion that it might be that the valve on the first piston for the intake was not seating. It had a mixture of oil and carbon... So that might explain alot it slowly getting put back together just put the oil pan and can shaft back in today.
