I played it a little bit, but then I removed it from the system. It's a great game, but I don't have the patience to ever really get into it.

I tried it a few years ago after it came out. It looks good but the game itself is annoying. I unistalled after maybe 4 hours of gameplay.

I remember playing once for an extended period of time, at least for me, and although I was picking up signs and hearing sounds of a deer close by, I never saw it at a range where I could shoot. I personally think some games are too realistic. With a real life hunting scenario, there are things that would keep you somewhat occupied while searching for the animal, like the smells, the warmth of the sun, the natural beauty around you and so on. But when you take a game, and try to make it real like this game attempts to, sometimes it just makes it frustrating for the user.

Sometimes hunters IRL will go 5 days before they bag a nice deer. Realistic hunting sucks. If I want true realism I'll go on a real hunt and bag a real deer. I used to play deer hunt the 2005 season years ago. Now that game is alot more fun. Graphics were amazing back then. I used to get on an atv and corral those sons of bitches into a corner and mow em all down with a shotgun almost point blank, it was hilarious. And so was the multiplayer.

Yea I would say this game is for real hunters. You have to have the patience and be as stealthy as in real life and thats what I really Love aabout it. Plus since then theyve added tons of new things including multiplayer. All in all its probably only fun if you like to hunt in real life. A few kills ive gotten Roosevelt elk wild boar Have a lot more I can upload later

I think what was also frustrating for me was this premium account stuff that they always love to throw at you for online games. I have little disposable gaming money, and when I buy a game, I want something that is Idk, more permanent, more time consuming in a good way (you keep playing because you just love the game). Games like Haulin and Train Simulator and Farming Simulator and stuff, to me are worth the $20 or so, but I'm not going to spend a little bit here and a little bit there so I can have the chance to chase a moose around and hope I can see him 400 meters away and miss my one shot to get him. So that's my viewpoint. I once spent like 5 dollars on an MP game called Quick Hit NFL which proceeded to go out of business in about a year after I spent the money, and I spent a couple dollars on another game called Simraceway which I stopped playing. With that money, I could have purchased some DLC for my main games or done something else with it. But anyways, I will say that this game has excellent graphics, and the morning scenery was absolutely stunning.

Same here. That's why I didn't buy battlefield 4. I hate DLC.
I already got screwed by buying bf3 early because of "premium", and I ain't doing that shit ever again with any game. That's like SCS selling ets2 + going east for $10 less than you paid for the game, meanwhile you already own the game and buying just the expansion is half the cost of the game. So you end up paying atleast %30 more, or buying the game over twice. I'll never buy DLC again for any game. I'll just wait until it costs a few $ for the expansion. And the DLC for this game is equally as stupid. But hey... I ain't knocking anyone who does though. Just my point of view.

That's why I didn't buy battlefield 4. DONT BUY IT....believe me when I say DICE and EA pretty much screwed that game over and are doing nothing in the way of fixing what they screwed up. The proof is presented to them on a silver platter and all they can do is roll out the shortcut bundles for all the weapons making life just that much harder to not drop kick the tv out the window onto a bunch of children

There have been multiple patches rolling out over the last couple months that have greatly improved game play. By no means is it fixed, but I've noticed a significant amount of trades and 1% health guys in recent weeks. I feel like my bullets hit a lot better than they used to but still not like they should. It's sad that people are still dying around the corner, but to say that they aren't working on it isn't entirely true. They are definitely working on it. However, I do not believe it is their top priority right now, which is sad. I'm just glad they ARE in fact working on it. Slow or not, they genuinely seem to want to fix the game. I love the graphics, and the single player looks amazing, but the multiplayer still needs a lot of work. The game should have been fixed by now, though... Don't get me wrong, I still have fun and am able to do well most of the time. However, most of my gameplay is in servers with no more than 10 people (5v5s for matches) and in a controlled environment on Domination mode only. lol I try to avoid playing public matches over 32 players and on anything but domination.

I must be the most unluckiest guy ever, it seems the same to me no matter what patch. I still say Dice and EA need to have a bus fall from the sky on them

Can anyone explain the ammunition use? As in using it up You have unlimited basic ammo for the starter rifle, as for any other gun you purchased you must buy more ammo.
