I'm finally getting the hang of Arma, I'm playing the campaign and so far so good, still far from a pro but hopefully i'll get there within the next couple months or year lol.

Yea either playing with real people or against real people or both will certainly help you get better a lot faster than with the campaign ai crap. I play with rex and jon and rex makes his own missions, and it's tons of fun because it's really hard to do without screwing up and when you do you feel awesome!

ArmA 3 owner here. Long term OFP fan, playing since 2003 the series...

Just to give a hint, ArmA engine could offer the best truck simulator you can pull out of such a sandbox game.
OFP already had a working semi truck and trailer: click

What do you use to take your screenshots and how do you keep your HUD from showing and keep your players face from turning.

Push * on your keyboard while being in a group. It's a tactical view basically. Doesn't work without a npc/person in your group. Not sure if it's only working on leader tho. Never tried in ArmA3.

In arma 3 the * enables free look, but the head turns accordingly.
