I really would buy from newegg or tigerdirect for a graphics card. Do you have to buy from here? Because if you don't I can give you some links. Also, how much do you plan on spending? Keep in mind that its highly recommended to buy a better power supply with any graphics card.

One is, you can build a computer cheaper. more better parts, and what you want to choose, when dell is more expensive, and offers less choices on what you want.
Dell = Shit 4 lyfe.

So it sucks cause you don't have enough choices to modify it?
Dude come on my Dell is almost a year old I gave a 500g Hard Drive
6G Ram what more could I want yes I don't have a Graphics Card but i'm yo lazy to go out and get one of course if I wanted to I would need to get a new power supply reason being the one I want needs more juice
So before you go around saying Dell sucks just cause you have no idea what you are doing with it Doesn't mean every single DELL sucks..

I have experience with pc's, i have built my pc and have modified my pc. soz i know what im doing. i just hate dells with a pasion. there expensive and there just total crap, your paying higher prices for when you can build your self a decent better pc. i put a dvd writer in a dell, didnt work after i installed the drivers what not ETC. so i remove it the old cd writer now doesnt work. the other dell pc had issues it was almost brand new and already the dvd drive tray is comming out and what not. dells are more overpriced for what there not worth or someshit idk. dells just are worthless to me. i wouldnt buy one.
When you said you had a 500G is it IDE/Sata/ScSi/ what?
What type of ram do you have SDram,DDR1,DDR2,DDR3?
What kind of Processor? Slot type? socket 770? or 777 whatever.

Actually for what I wanted when I got this computer, building it myself wasn't much difference in price to buying one ready made Anyways, this is about graphics cards not Dell so let's get back on topic

My last computer was a dell and I hated it. It had a stupid ass cooling setup for the cpu. It took up like half of the case and dont you dare try to take your CPU out from under it. It'll take about 20 mintues to get it all off. THEN! You couldn't even put a new fan on, because of the setup that the old one had...

Last computer I bought from a company was back in 05, ffrom HP.......those pre made computers are shit most of the time, or they're just too much money for what you can get. For a graphics card? I dunno.... if you play lots of different types of games buy an nvidia as they have good opengl support. ATI doesn't have very good opengl capabilities in terms of compatability. ATI card look better too, but if you're gonna run haulin you're gonna want a nvidia or older ATI card that you can use a older driver with. Which I wouldn't recommend.
And those sites you gave him end up being nearly the same amount as a store that has good prices. For me, I can't buy from tiger direct because they charge an arm & a leg to take canadian money and ship here. So if you're in canada, don't bother with these websites.
