Alright, this is one for the experts. I have a Samsung QX series laptop, with the nVidia Optimus system and the GeForce M300 graphics card. I "upgraded" to Windows 8 when it came out, I thought I would like it..and I do, besides the minor quirks of it. I found a lot of drivers, function keys and some buttons no longer work after the upgrade. But my major problem are games like 18 WOS and Flight Simulator. It seems as the nVidia portion of the card is not working..I select the game to run on that card, and it used to run smoothly with no jagged edges or lag, now I have jaggies out the ass. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Windows 8 for me? Never.
You know that's the thing with software. They always say it will be better, and it rarely is.
Is there some way you can convert back to 7 again?

He can rollback to 7 anytime. Have you tried checking your settings in the Nvidia panel if you have one?

Ya. All my settings are exactly how they were. I can rollback to 7..I have to restore it completely to factory settings.

Are your graphics drivers up to date?

Even with 7 I have experienced some weird problems. I had an anti-virus program that began conflicting with computer operations, so sometimes the computer would not start. I contacted the support staff for the computer, and they said do a system restore (a solution that solves all problems according to them). I refused.
Couple months later, replaced the antivirus, and it works good as new.
Anyways, back on topic. Hope you get it working cause that is not fun when you upgrade, and the "improvement" downgrades your gaming experience,

Ya. I've had the same antivirus forever, and no problems on 7 or anything else..I might just have to do the rollback..if possible.
