NEW SCREENSHOT POSTING RULES! With the new forum, it now adjusts overly big images automatically to your screen size. However, the slow loading of huge screens is due to the size, not the dimensions. So Now I have revised the rules for posting screens effective today onward. Dimensions:Any dimensions are now accepted. You can now post ANY size dimension screenshots you'd like to. Just realize dimensions also boost the overall size. Size allowed:850kb is now the new size. You should be able to even post a larger screen than the previous rules at that size amount per screenshot. As like before, effective immediately from this point onward, any posting of screenshots over that size limit is subject to complete removal without warning or explanation. All other parts of the screenshot rules are still effective, such as 6 is the maximum amount per post, no PNG's, etc. Happy posting.

I haven't seen guys like hute or bora post over 700kb, and they have the best screenshots. Whatever you are using to convert isn't working.

lol mine are like 300-400, although i re sized them a fair bit, guess i have a little room to play with. this makes more sense than having a size limit.

Yeah. This forum in v5 works much better since it scales bigger pics to smaller depending on your screen size. So ppl with 1024x768 res can still view 1920x1080 pics without stretching the forum and having to scroll. So as long as it's under a size limit we should be able to get away with bigger pics with still decent perfomance.

For everyone wanting nice screens without quality loss! Download Irfanview here and install. After installation, open and click file. Select Batch Conversion/Rename... Change the Output format under 'Batch conversion settings' to 'JPG - JPG/JPEG Format' in the drop down menu Click on the 'Options' button next to this drop down menu and set up as shown below Then, select your images in the upper right and choose the 'Output directory for result files:' *when you select your images, you have to double click on each image until the file path shows in the space on the bottom right* When the above steps have been completed, select start Batch and you will get a popup window displaying the images that were selected to be converted and will say if there have been any errors with the image conversions. If there is an error, you will have to re-convert that image. If not then select exit batch if you are done converting or choose return to batch to convert more. I hope this helps people, thanks.

I've never had the problem, maybe its because i upload to picturepush and you can post it in 1024x.... and then click to view full size. You can set the file size too but that can cause quality loss.

Well, one of our newbies just posted 18 screenshots. I think he thinks if they are small, that somehow reduces the count.

You've always been allowed to post more if they're thumbnails. Thumbnails are like 5kb each, I honestly wouldn't care if you posted 50 of them. I can define the rules for thumbnails if you want me to.
