Bout the small ass windows....
I drive a 4400 nat. same doors as a prostar. you get ample air flow through the windows, sometimes to much, so the noise over powers the radio. i havent sit in a prostar yet, but i hope to fuck they have better seats then the 4400 i use, lol

Well, I guess we all have different tastes. But that back wall on them petes and kens is a bigtime hassle, my knees are always kissing the dash. I dunno why you had that problem in the I-nat, They have more legroom than any of the kens had that I been in. And I dunno, about your theory with peterbilt having nice seats...... they certainly don't compare to the newer model kenworth seats. My dad has em in his truck, way nicer than the peterbilt seats. Not as wide on the ass part but definitely nicer to look at, they got wicked lumbar support for just a standard seat and they're made of nice material. I'm pretty sure they were changed to a newer model in 08 as my dad's 07 t8 at j&r hall had different ones. And about ISX engines, that engine was probably abused beyond recognition aaron. My dad's 08 t800 has a 475 cummins ISX dual cam, I haven't seen an engine run any better than that does. Although, once they';re abused, they'll have problems. The ONLY problem with the on in my dad's truck is it spits black soot and makes a weird noise if you leave the jakes on full for too long when you're not usin them. And that's because the previous driver ran the bag out of the truck and didn't service anything properly, and used fucking ether all the time to start it in the winter. If you don't know what that is, it's a can of engine starting fluid you spray into the breathers when you turn the key over if the truck is too cold to start. The truck even has a wabasto preheater but the previous idiot (same guy who ran the truck full speed into the side of a body job) didn't bother to use it. Yeah fuck, a bit off topic here, but that just shows how much bullshit ice road truckers is played out. They don't use ether to start their trucks. Here it gets so cold sometimes you must in the wintertime. Sheesh. Played up much? Anyways, saumel lee, you can see the whole hood when you're sitting in the driver seat.... so, I dunno....well, we all have our own tastes anyway. It's just in comparison, the prostar really does have better features than the 386. It's obvious features too. That's why they made the prostar the way it is, to go above competition. Well IDK my brother drove that International with the ISX for a couple months it was a 2006 or some shit like that, and it was in the shop atleast once a month for motor problems, and it only had like 200,000 miles on it, I know we all have our own opinions but I do not trust the ISX Cummins at all. And for the seats issue, my brother currently drives a 2007 Kenworth T600 with factory cloth seats, and they freaking suck, the back is 2 straight, the lumbar is 2 high up, and the spot for your ass is idk just not comfortable, every night I would go to sleep with a sore back, but maybe thats just because I wasn't use to the seats, and he drove a 2007 Peterbilt 379, and a 2005 Peterbilt 387 with factory leather seats, and those were amazing

My dad has the t6 with the national seats with a shit load of controls i love them. I liked the bostrom seat the shaker had because it could go low but still keep you comfortable on the bumps. That's all for me ive ridden in petes and kw's. The 377 my dad drove was badass he went fucking fast with that m11 but no air ride for me and the roads were brutal but shit i was still trucking it up. Chris the new isx's are good but those egr's just kill it. There's soo many things wrong with those new motors. Isx is not the best of the cummins engines people buy new ones and at 200k the give up. A friend of my dad's is suing cummins for that motor he had one it blew he bought a new one that blew. And the part's are expensive as fuck. This is my opinion.

Yeah well stupid Millis decided to put c13s with 435hp in their trucks to pull 47,000lbs beer loads through the mountains in West Virginia and Pennsylvania and shit, that was a brilliant idea

As far as popularity goes, on I80 (west of salt lake) I conducted an eyeball count and this is the approximate ratios NOTE: this is just OTR trucks, not dumpers or flatbeds
For every 10 trucks on the road: 3 Are Freightliner * 1 are columbia * 1 are cascadia * 1 is a remaining model 2 Are Kenworth * 1 are t-600 * 1 is remaining model 2 are International * 1 are Prostar * 1 are remaining models 1 Are pete 387's (rounds to two, but had to add up) 1 are VNL 780's 1 are the remaining brands + the Pete 379
seriously, the number of 379's has gone down drastically in a year.. replaced by cascadias

No its more like out of 10 trucks its:
5 are Volvos ( Either 780 or 760 ) 4 are Freightliners 1 are the rest
I'm so damn sick of seeing Volvo's, they are freaking overpopulated, we should have Volvo hunting seasons

Well they got the c13 because they are lighter, when they had C15s like the 2004 T2000 my brother drove for them, they had 475hp, bad ass on the hills and shit, and i don't even know what their new trucks have, probably that damn ISX shit
And yeah the C15 have turbos on their menu also, only thing my brother has had problems with on the C15s

Thats what happened to that ISX my brother had, it eventually exploded into over 130 pieces all over the interstate, Was that in the wintertime by any chance? Because some guys put a small amount of gas in the tanks when temps dip lower..... to prevent too much thickening. I'm assuming not, but if he did, he put too much in. Putting too much gas in a large diesel engine will literally make the engine explode......like....KABOOM...lol. and about the seats, the new ones are leather and cloth. It's not a soft cloth though, it's really thick I dunno what type of material. But these are the best seats, atleast imo. I'll grab the tag off the seat next time I go to the truck.

Shit IDK I would have to ask him, I think maybe it was during the winter, but he never put gasoline in his trucks, so that wouldn't be the problem anyways
