Here I'm presenting you one of the most awesome game I've played in the last 10 years: Dear Esther. It was originally a Half-Life 2 mod, turned into a full game this year by developper "thechineseroom". In fact, it's not a game. It's a playable novel. You don't do very much besides walking, looking and being astonished by the game. The narrative effects are just awesome, the story is heart-gripping and is supported by one of the best soundtrack I've heard. Graphics are gorgeous, you can't find any better in my opinion. It's a complete new genre of game, innovation at it's best, and for only 10 little bucks, you can't find any better. I recommend it to EVERYBODY here. Go over on Steam, and enjoy the ride! Here are some screenshots I took.

For sure the graphics are outstanding! But you just walk and check the scenery?

I check and I found nothing I played it maxed out, everything at max resolution, full AA with my decent computer, 60 FPS all the way no lags. Shouldn't be a problem. Marius, there is no genre for that type of game yet, it's experimental. It's like a playable novel. By the way, the game is not very long, only 1 hour and a half if you take your time, but what an hour!
