So I haven't played ATS in a while, but I finally got some time today, so I updated to 1.3 and tried to play. Unfortunately, when I tried to play I started having major problems with the truck. Now, before I go any further, I must say that this is not a "truck maintenance problem" as the truck shows 100% and I still have this problem with a stock game and no mods. The problem I'm having is that when I try to drive (using a Logitech G27), every time I put the truck in gear, the truck dies. I've only been able to get the truck to move by very quickly jamming it into 1st and going from there, but if I let off of the accelerator or stop the truck dies completely. The last time I played the game I had no problems with this and could stop at a stop light or intersection without the truck just dying.
Does anyone have any insight on how to fix this problem?

They just recently with update 1.3 fixed some of the manual gearbox stuff. Im not sure how to fix your issue but Im sure this is the reason behind them so. " Torque converter physics data added, separated manual clutch data (physics.sii)." The full list is there. blog.scssoft.com/2016/06/arizona-map-expansion-for-american.html

It could be a possibility that your transmission had some changes made in the update, have you tried changing transmissions or selling and buying a new truck yet? Are you using any old physics modifications? Anymore specifics would be great to help you diagnose it

Definitely with quattro here. Sounds like there may be a physics mod conflicting. They changed a lot having to do with the clutch and torque ratings.

In messing with the settings, I was able to make it a little bit better, but it's still not really working. I have no conflicting mods as this problem is even happening with an unmodded stock game (using SCS trucks/trailers).

I dunno, the clutch is kinda jenky in this game. What I do (also have G27) is when taking off, as I'm letting off the clutch, and with it still somewhat engaged, I start to accelerate. Also, when coming to a stop, I fully engage clutch, while breaking and coming to a stop, has not died on me since doing this. Hope this helps

You mean you have to drive it like a real truck? I'm totally shocked.

Played with the settings some more tonight and got it back to where it'd work for me. Thanks to the guys who actually provided valuable info and help.
