hi does anyone know how to used the scs blender tool. i made a simple trailer tutorial in blender and used zmod3 to convert it to ets2 and people keep messaging me saying they cant pay for zmod3 and was asking me to show them how to use the scs blender tool .i just started 3d modeling last year Feb and only know how to make models in blender and transfer it to zmod3. so I'm looking for some to make the blender part of tutorial . i will provide the trailer model and the textures. i would like you to teach them the how to make standalone trailer,materials,dummy/empty and the different looks for the trailer and it must be English thanks. Please i am asking favour

Explain me something. Why You need Blender2 and Zmod3 simultaneously? Just pick one. blender is easy to 3d model with and zmod3 is easy to export .

50keda's been working on an updated version of SCSBT (which I'm now pronouncing as "Scuzz-butt") that integrates export, conversion, and packaging into one step. Have a look at the new workflow. He's indicated that he's releasing it "very soon." Scuzz-butt. Serious business.

Scuzz-butt He did it because people don`t know how to hit convert button in Blender and pack one single folder using 7zip or winrar and put it into mod folder? Seriously people? Without pmg import, it`s useless! SCS what are You doing!? #myrant

i made a side box for my peterbilt and follow the steps and export it and in game it looks black when it should be chrome. i ask them what i did wrong and they said i did it right . the Specular and Env Factor should whyte and i check and it is and also they said the Texture has to have a white alpha channel value of 255 how do i do that

For SCS textures (.DDS format) You need DXTBmp by MW Graphics. Also (for ETS2) download WTV DDS file viewer (amazing small tool, incl. Normal Maps ) The most important thing is: texture and .mat file. You can use textures and mats directly from SCS Software (recommended) or create Your own. For that You need Image Manipulation Program (Gimp, Paint, PhotoShop etc.). For chrome it will be GREY color with white alpha channel. The easiest way to do it? Create medium dark grey image. (Can even do that in Blender) (size 512x512 or 1024x1024). Color Chart: www.jetskidetailing.com/colorchart3.jpgSave as BMP 24 bit format for the best quality. Open it in DXTBmp. Hit Alpha>Create Alpha Channel (Black). Save as DDS dxt5 or 888-8 32bit for the best quality. Of course don`t forget about proper UV and Image Mapping. How does it look in Blender? Show me. My mat values: {Spoiler}material : "eut2.dif.spec.add.env.nofresnel" { texture[0] : "/vehicle/wheel/wheel_alc_f/textures/axlesign.tobj" texture_name[0] : "texture_base" texture[1] : "/material/environment/vehicle_reflection.tobj" texture_name[1] : "texture_reflection" add_ambient : 0 diffuse : { 1.0 , 1.0 , 1.0 } env_factor : { 0.468 , 0.468 , 0.468 } shininess : 60 specular : { 0.890196 , 0.890196 , 0.890196 } } That`s My chrome. Take care mate.
