As long as the nodes aren't too close it doesn't show up

I think it has something to do with how they are in the parts tree. But don't quote me on that.

^ I believe he is right, make sure all the light nodes are at the bottom under all the parts of the truck. IF they still show through try moving the parts that they are moving to below the nodes, and if that still dont work your SOL

IF they still show through try moving the parts that they are moving to below the nodes, and if that still dont work your SOL I can tell you having all the nodes at the bottom doesn't work, because I have my 389 set up like that, and they still show through the fender and aircleaner. Here's a pic of the 386 I did for a friend, and all the nodes are in the bottom, and still shows through the fender...

Oh ok I appreciate the feedback everyone. I just didn't want anybody to think I just half assed the model since the lights were showing through parts.

well then your all SOL, might be the interior not showing through the glass thing i was thinking about from zmod Yea, the transparent textures only show what's above them in the tree, ie if the glass is at the top, everything you'd normally see through it will be invisible. The nodes, I'm fairly certain have to do with proximity, ie, any mesh within a certain distance allows transparency for the light textures.
