At first glance I thought that first screen was an in-game picture.

Rollin' out. Not many gray days in this part of Cali. Rare sight. I see mountains ahead. Another train coming! I'll give him a friendly wave. Sun's peeking through. Passing some kind of industrial district. These pics aren't even close to those of Red Dragon Negotiator. If you have any tips, please PM me. Thanks.

Wow. Is It an arcade style game, where You Gotta deliver thé load in à certain laps of time? Not exactly. It's a full fledged train simulator. Usually you have assignments such as switch these cars from one track to another, then lead a set out onto the mainline and take it to another location. There is some loading and unloading of passengers and freight, but mostly a lot of rail yard duties and hauling passengers and freight. I enjoy the game personally, but it isn't full of riveting action. There aren't many mods available for the game from independent modders, and what is available is sometimes costly. The simulator-makers are constantly producing new routes and trains for the game, but with the cost of the game at almost $60, buying a pack of locomotives or a new route for $25 is kinda forbidding.

If you're not into trains don't buy this game. You won't enjoy it.

The game sells for 29.99 at my local Wally world. But I got it for free since I bought 2010 back in the day. I easily have over 100 worth of DLC. Mostly additional routes. I should really consider reinstalling it!!! www.walmart.com/ip/Train-Simulator-2013/22036713

When you have a time limit in the game it's in a realistic way. Not arcade style. If you like simulators and love trains then consider it. There's loads of cool DLC but it can be expensive. The good thing is learning the scenario editor is not hard, and then you have an endless amount of options to make your own scenarios.

Love to see a tutorial on how that is done RD, perhaps a youtube video. Or perhaps release some of your scenarios. Although for that to work you would have to use basic RLC equipment and engines.

Yeah I started a tutorial back in the 2012 thread I think. Well, what I'll do is make a separate topic for it in this section of the forum and that way it won't get buried in screenshots. Give me a day or two and I can get it rolling.
