Have any of you guys ever played the Driver series? Well the new Driver, Driver San Francisco is coming out on the 6Th, and I'm planning on getting it. I played the demo on my Xbox 360, and it was freaking incredible. Anyone else planning on getting it? driver-thegame.ubi.com/driver-san-francisco/en-GB/home/

I'm impressed with the car list. If the damge physics are good then I'd enjoy it.

Yeah the car list was pretty impressive!
Hope my computer can run it!
But what is the goal of the game? Car pursuit? Story?

Got it a few weeks ago on PS3, finished the main missions within about 2 weeks of scattered playing. Not bad at all, but for me it still doesn't quite capture the essence and feel that the old Driver games had. The driving games EA is involved with nowadays all feel too Burnoutish and NFSish.
One thing I found annoying is that between each main story mission you must complete some side missions/stunts/dares/chases before the next main mission is unlocked. They should remain purely optional to gain more "WP" when you want it, the way they did it drags the game out. In actual fact I think there's less than 20 main story missions.

Ubisoft edited that one, not EA

I watched some gameplay videos of this, and my only complaint is that the 3500 Dodge Dually doesn't sound like a diesel. I wish they spent more time on engine sounds. What's cool, though, is that they put a the GMT400 old body style GMC Sierra in the game, interior looks just like it is supposed to.

I agree with what all of you are saying. I actually have had it since it came out for Xbox 360, and it is a great game. I beat the story in like 4 days. I thought is was pretty good.
