Isuzu too. Seeing as videos are all the rage this week I might get one of my little truck. It has a pretty decent sounding turbo.

Well I got a few things to say here....
1. Leaving a truck idling for an hour aint the proper way to heat up an engine cause it takes way too long and waste fuel too, put it to work nice and smooth is the way to do it, it heats up alot faster which is the best for an engine.
2. What's the point of reving up an engine only to hit the jake brake? If it was my truck I would fire the driver faster than lightning.
3. Why do you all have so many problems with the newer emission engines? are CAT, Detroit and Cummins emission engines so bad? Over here we managed to keep the same fuel efficiency all the way from euro0 to euro3 emissions, with euro4 and euro5 we even improved it some and got a better torgue too..
@steve, right on the nail ;D

There fine tuned. Here well they havent perfected them yet. I know the volvo engines are the cats meow over there. Here there the worst thing in the world.

"CUMMINGS" Its Cummins The truck was at work for the day, it was just in the driveway off for 15 minutes, because when he got home we did the lawn, and i just left the truck running to keep it up in temp. And reving up the engine to jake is just awesome, get over it. and 2, and if you were over here, you'd have to fire just about everyone, because everyone in the area i live do it. this area is mostly all basic custom trucks that run dump and tankers. And LMAO my dad could care less about the fuel!! You only worry about fuel in the big companys like JB Hunt and walmart, etc. And it is my dads truck, he owns it..... And Luis you are right. Volvo engines are shit over here. Get a real engine.... Oh and dont yell at Aaron , he did the same thing.

It's allright, spend your money on whatever you want, I just prefer to actually get something for my money, fuel wasted on idling is just money flowing out of your pocket I would rather spend them on something else................

Here in Australia we have both American and European engines. We work them harder than 90% of Americans or Europeans. They both do the same job, approx. same economy and same reliability. With equal emissions. Driving 1000km per day with 75 tonnes in tow is a pretty good way to compare the two, and they're as good as each other. Pretty sure your dad cares a shit load about fuel, since he has to pay for it and not the company. Oh, and the only reason I leave my truck idling ever is due to the refrigerator motor. It's compressor is the A/C compressor. So motor off equals no coldness. Dumb idea, but at least the three new trucks on order have their own diesel refrigeration unit independent of the engine. Video anyone?

No never had that problem... Anyways my g/f took this picture on our way back from Buffalo, NY this morning. Pick-up truck (Barely visible behind the windshield wiper) ran a stop sign and got t-boned by a big truck, what another driver told me on the cb is that there was nothing the truck driver could do except pray that the guy in the pick-up was alright...
