Some time ago I published a mod and a Mexican modified it without giving me credits, it does not bother me that he did it, it bothers me that he did not give me credits for my work but even so I want to publish more mods someone knows how I can block the scs so that they cannot open it?

There are a few things out there. Only issue is if there is a way to lock it, there are 14 ways to unlock it. I personally believe that people, if capable of doing so, should be able to edit a mod that they downloaded and or purchased. That does not mean you can't give proper credits. The issue you run into is you can't force people to do the right thing within' there morals. Basically what I am saying is if you lock the mod, that will not deture anyone from unlocking it and do the same thing. It will just add another minute of work to there project!

You've come to the right place if you want respect for your work (for credits anyway, no guarantees for criticism), but beyond that, this has been an ongoing discussion for this side of the community since the beginning of time.
Generally, we say that the safest thing you can do is just not release at all. Especially if for example you're offering up a truck made up of parts from 15 other models and an unspecific credits list a mile long. Even we have to deal with this now, after countless people converted our stuff over to ATS and "forgot" the original author (aka deleted the readme).
The most effective way I've seen as far as actually "locking" mods is to encrypt and password protect any files you don't want to be extracted, but even that can be circumvented with enough time and patience, and the right software. The only mod I know of that was ever like that was Luder's Alutrec B-doubles, and any mods that use parts from it that he shared. Even if he didn't lock it though, no one would dare get caught red-handed trying to take credit for something that recognizable.
Honestly though, that's probably the best thing you can do, make your work stand out and hope for the best, or don't release at all. A lot of us here have our own "signature" way of doing things with our mods that can be easily spotted, and anyone around here who dares claim it as their own gets heavily berated and/or banned. There are so many decked out 379s, W900s, T600s and T800s out there that I don't know who made what anymore, especially when they have parts that look like they came from us in the first place.

Are we allowed to share mod links on here? Official steam workshop firstly, and then from other sites. Because i saw some modders only post on third party sites, and not on steam workshop
