So first of all, in 99.9% of all FS maps, there are no truckstops, so making a map for this competition would have been the only way to have a decent truckstop in my pictures. So there's that. Second of all, the truck in these pictures is the same: at night, the reflection of the light on the paint makes the truck appear to be a darker color. But it's still the same cream and blue Pete.
The truck: 2007 Peterbilt 379 EXHD
Engine: 550 hp Cat C15
Transmission: 18 Speed Eaton
Name: ""Challenge Accepted""
It still fits in the working truck category because this truck is definitely a working man's truck. With a little bit of extra money left over from a few good loads, I've taken the time to drop the truck about 3 inches, add a 22 inch boxed end bumper, 7 inch straight stack extensions, and a custom dropped sunvisor. I've also added chrome plates along the bottom edge of the cab and sleeper and new battery boxes as well. More lights will be in the to-do list as more extra cash becomes available. The truck still retains its factory-installed rear brake/turn signals, mudflaps, and quarter fenders and its original interior, further proving that it's not a total custom show truck.
It might be someday, but today, it's still ready to get a little dirty in the fields hauling agricultural equipment and on the open highway.
