I could careless about the wheels, they always get replaced anyways. The model itself looks great. I might actually get back into trucking Sims.

Smartassery aside, If the models look decent by themselves then it's always good, but wouldn't it be a bit more decent if for once we didn't have to replace or change something in every damn game they make? Most of the reason modding exists is because the developers fuck up in some place that can be fixed by some 15-16 year old who has no expertise in game development. It's pathetic. If it's easy to replace them, then why is it so hard for SCS to do them right for once? Well, at least they're better than pie tins with textured-on holes...

Sure the wheels can be repalced. As long as you detail them to match the environment. If you think just converting rims from haulin over is gonna look awesome, you're gonna be surprised how out of place it's gonna look without PROPER texturing and mapping. Especially now since the new engine doesn't support MSAA or SSAA, and instead supports normal mapping. You just convert some random wheels over that are all 3d, it's gonna look like a mess of jagged edges compared to everything else in the game. Just look at most of the mods from ETS2. 95% of them look like shit because ppl don't know how to blend their models properly into the game.

I haven't modded a game since Haulin', so I would have to relearn everything with the new games. But the wheels don't look that bad, I mean they're not great, but they're not terrible. A lot better than their previous attempts at wheels. xD

For example, you're simply not gonna have ANY normal mapping tools in zmodeler. It's just a shitty program overall. Most other modeling programs atleast have the ability to map and burn ambient occlusion maps, and render normal maps from higher res models. If you want to make normal maps for your model with zmodeler, you're gonna have to do it in photoshop. Which is less fun and makes the model look more fake.

I've never even converted a model to another game. So it'd take me some time probably, plus having to learn a new 3D program.

This is what I think: I do NOT want ETS2 MMO game with bunch of kids and noobs. I WANT simply ability to create a host/room/server (whatever you call it) for 2,4 or 8 players (depends on your Internet connection) with password (or not), invite my friend(s), and just play and have fun (without traffic, pedestrians, etc). Only map and our trucks. SCS please!

I'm sure multiplayer would be fun, but I feel as if it would hurt the single player gameplay if they focused more on the multiplayer aspect.

Multiplayer would be hilarious. It would be so hard not to drive around trolling people.

It won't be a multiplayer . My guess is it's going to be like Scania Truck Driving Simulator .And judging by the DLC , which takes forever to release a stupid map and a truck , this WOT will take them 2-3 years .

I wouldn't go so far as to say it will be a multiplayer add on, but that may be their end goal. We can only wait and see. I'm curious would people rather see a multiplayer or an American version.
