No screens today, just a pretty cool video. Enjoy! [image]Nice! Did you convert that 7R? Haven't seen it before but i've seen one like that for FS11 Thanks. No, I didn't convert it: there are a few versions floating around the web on some of the more obscure modding sites. Check fsportal.hu Some screens for today. First, what I think is my best ever. And then more.

Yeah, I usually play single-player too. And Darrell, if you need some mods, I'll be happy to find you some links. There are some sites that don't come up in quick Google searches, that are really hidden treasures.

Darrell. Ok, just pm me what you're looking for, and I'll try to find it. Rocketman, Thanks. I don't use a lighting mod: I just edit my photos with Google Plus image editor. There are others, but this is the best I've found. Basically, I have a four-part process to taking screens. First, I have all my settings maxed in-game. Second, I use the HUD hider and the Camera mod to get rid of the gauges, clocks, and such and to set up my camera angle, zoom, and so on. Third, I take the picture and upload it to Google Plus (basically a Facebook copycat. ). They just went through an update, so the gallery automatically optimizes the photos for you, but I typically go in and auto-correct the exposure and color to lighten up the photos and add some more warmth. And then fourth, I add my username (someone actually took one of my photos and used it on their mod website, so I've had to move the words closer to the object of the image). And then I upload to Photobucket and post here. Dan, I'm running so many mods right now, I can't see straight, so I can't even begin to say what I have or use. For comparison, I have three Raba Steigers, the one second from the bottom in my last post, four John Deere 7280Rs (second down), and probably ten Scanias and such. My mod folder is currently at 8.37 Gigabytes on disk, without some new stuff I just got today. So if you are looking for a specific mod, just post it here, and I'll find you a link. If I tried to post my mod list, it would probably take about fifty screens.

I think its so cute that you guys are so afraid someone is going to steal a damn pic and claim it for themselves that you have to plaster them with handmade watermarks. Its just so adorable. Ok sarcasm aside. Who cares its a pic taken with mods that are released to the general public. They can be recreated over and over again. Who really cares if someone else claims it. Are you getting paid for your pics? Its basically makes as much sense as locking a lego build

Actually some of my mods I have personally converted and are completely error free. Yes you can download some of the mods I have others you cant, others like my 560 I have added the rear wheel weights too so yes I will protect my work.

Thats your mods, which by the way you just admitted on your own are lego built and locked "smh". Not your pics that you guys keep watermarking. I am just ranting about it. I know its your right to do it I am just saying its ridiculous.

They ruin the pic. When you look at it and go, "Hm, I wonder if he's covering up some kind of mistake with that massive, ugly logo?"... Do you see ANYONE else in ANY other game doing this? I personally haven't, to my recollection, seen anyone put their name in their screens(definitely not within the last year). Basically, why? What purpose is it serving besides ruining the pic? People can go under your name, or say that name is an alias on whatever site they want to and you'll probably never know...

Not exactly. The Farming Simulator world is much different than the truck simulator world. First of all, most of the good mods are found on obscure websites. For example, I download a lot of high-quality stuff from sites in Czechoslovakia, Poland, Brazil and so on. These sites are not commonly known, and the more of them you know, the better your pictures are. Second of all, the quality in Farming Simulator screenshots is not as evenly dispersed as say on this website. By no means am I trying to say that the pictures of Corey, Bora, nordisch, and a few others are not a much higher level than the majority, but you have not seen what some people call a screenshot in FS 2013. For example, one guy compared this screen with one of his, and was getting irritated that he had received no comments or ratings of his picture. In fact, his picture was distorted, mottled, and of probably 2 star (of 5) or lower quality. I explained to him how I take screenshots, and I think he appreciated some advice. But his comparison was completely ridiculous. This is not a one-time occasion. I would say 25 to 40 percent of FS 2013 screenshots on a variety of websites that I look at are completely terrible. There are a few people who can get the most out of Farming simulator, and a whole bunch who can't. I'm getting better each day. And lastly, using my pictures on a site without my permission was actually a violation of the law, and after I mentioned it to a group of people on a Farming Simulator forum, they contacted the game maker, who contacted the website operator and probably promised legal action against the website if the picture was not taken down. Of course, they removed it quickly. Bsically, this is how I understand the issue. Giants, who is the maker of FS 2013, has ownership rights to all pictures taken with the game since they are the original maker of the game engine, and so on. I have Intellectual Property rights to the picture because I took it, edited it, and added my name. And the website violated my Intellectual property rights by using the picture without my permission, and violated Giants End-User-License Agreement because they used this picture to link to a paid service. The main reason why I put my username on my screens is that I believe my work is high-quality, and I don't want others using it as if it were their own work. And this has also happened. Stealing is probably not the correct word, but the website was violating several laws, and thankfully the issue has been solved. EDIT: The only reason I have my username in these screens is because I edit them once, and post them in several places, one of which was where my picture was taken from. And no, you don't see this kind of issue with other games, but then again, you don't see such a dispersion of quality in those games also. I can say, from personal experience, the worst 18 WOS mods, maps, and screens are a far cry from the worst Farming Simulator 2013 or 2011 screens, mods, and maps.

You know what, I'm going to nip my side in the butt. You have good screens, and I know that the farm sim community is full of assholes who steal shit. I shouldn't have posted that and I apologize for misunderstanding the purpose it serves for you. I applaud you for taking the time to write this well-thought explanatory post and apologize for my remark. Your screens are very good and do seem to be getting better. Keep it up.

Oh so I added wheel weights to a tractor and now its classified as a lego build? Hmmm interesting! I will make sure to tell everyone who add's front loaders and and duals to previous built models that they are nothing more than lego builders!

You added a pre existing part to a pre existing mod. Sounds like Lego's to me. Oh wait its farming so I guess they would be Lincoln logs!!! seriousmods I rescind my statement to you about the pics. You make a very valid point!

Corey #3 @kellymcalest It's all good. Thanks for the compliments. Hey, I learned a lot from the situation myself because I didn't know that I technically didn't own the pics. But anyways, the funniest part of it was that the picture wasn't even that good. But I guess they didn't see that. I'm glad to see some conversation in here, though. This thread was dead a little while ago.

ive had trouble with people stealing my pics off these forums, and not just screens but actual photos. i had one guy taking my real pics and putting them on his flickr page. he was a so called professional too. some on facebook pages too. and ive had people taking screenshots and putting them on facebook pages, just so the people can get attention. its not the best feeling i know why people watermark stuff. also if pics do show up somewhere you can know if they are just stealing your pics or if they actually have a copy of your private mods which happens alot with the cockheads in the australian mod scene.
