k bro. get you some zephyr pro 40, some paint thinner, and quite afew micro fiber towels. for ease, put the paint thinner in a spray bottle of any type. spray the wheel with paint thinner. put some pro 40 on a rag, and start wiping. it will begin to turn black n whatnot. then spray your paint thinner on, take another rag, whipe it down(it will not all come off with this rag) then take ANOTHER rag and do your final wipedown. depending on the condition of the rims, you may have to repeat this step several times. believe me, they WILL NOT come out to near perfection on the first, or even 3rd time. it takes several times before they begin to look really good. i have to stress this to just about every customer i have. they think that their rims will turn out like my dads on the first cutting pass...but they are wrong. any more questions?

Yea those wheels i did with the buffer are on there 3rd cut and finish in there lifetime and those wheels i did by hand were never cut with a wheel and it took a good 6months of polishing on and off and touching them up to get them to look even that good. It's a process and I hope you dont think this is something that is gonna be like an hour and done, believe me its not even close.

I don't do wheels... we got Durabrights ;D anywho. In my experience flitz isn't that great. Use Mothers aluminum and chrome polish. That's what i use on my pickup, unless i'm doing the body. Then i use a polish we got from some guy in a van in Iowa... Those durabrights go dull it looks like we have them since the truck went thru snow and the wheels looked like they just got polished. The shine has gotten a bit duller since we got the truck. Im thinking of buying the powerbal. Yeah you do have to repolisch them after a long time

Im cheap and wheels come out better by hand. Oh it got dark quick so i was polishing one side in the dark.

The liquid i used shined more. The rouge im talking about was the green bar we crushed it and mixed it with kerosene. I used it on the top step it came out blurry. One use on the bottom step with the liquid and the step has never been polished it had a mirror shine. Try it some time corey i think they sell it at the hook. The stuff is called busch if you want a link pm me.
