One thing I liked to do in San Andreas that was list in 4 was grab the Harley and go for a ride usually in the desert. I'm looking forward to being able to do that again. The bike customization interests me as well.

Double post but its important.
For Xbox apparently it runs like shit if you instal to the hard drive so my brother installed it to a USB and it still runs like shit. He says its unplayable. Anyone had this problem or know of a fix? I suggested maybe its a crappy USB.

Hmm i know your opinion on GTA but i won't get into that i might go ahead and get it....I read somewhere that GTA IV was released on pc like seven months after console so given that they might do that with GTA V i might pick up another console(ps3) and get the game

I saw it with my own eyes. It's fucked. Random textures don't load, load pixelated, disappear all environment textures. Sea to happen more when driving. Also it lags/ freezes randomly when driving. Basically driving at a moderate speed and more than a few blocks is impossible. Best guess from support and google is the game is defective.
Edit- it does it in vehicle textures to its just less noticeable.

I picked up the game on release day...and got the pre-order blimp when I didn't pre-order. lol. Anyhow...
The only GTA I have ever played was GTA IV. I loved that game...and still do, played the shit out of it. I was always thinking that there could definitely be more added to the game...make it better, more realistic and have a lot more stuff to drive/steal. That all happened in this new GTA. A lot of newer games just don't attract my attention anymore...but this one did. First off...the freakin thing is alive. I saved at my safehouse last night with my car parked pulled in, wearing a hoodie and shorts, at night, and in my bedroom. Turn the game on today and he's outside washing his car in different clothes..that was awesome. Seems like all of the characters have a "real life." They all change clothes, hats...etc.
All of the vehicle options is AWESOME. You can fly planes, drive buses, RVs, Lifted trucks, you name it. The coolest part is that you can grab a semi truck and attach a trailer...everything is just so much better in this new game...it's sorta realistic in a way.
I have it on Xbox, I have an original white 360, don't remember the memory capacity, but I had to delete some things to make room for the 8GB install. Everything runs great on it though! All in all...best game purchase I have made for a very long time!

It's good to hear you have an original with no issue so I must have a defective disk.

Update on the situation.
New copy of gta 5 made no difference. We've heard through forums that many of the original 20 gb console are having this issue. Most apparently have no hdmi hookups. I' thought mine did but on second thought I'm thinking maybe it doesn't. Hard to problem solve when I'm at work lol. We're going to try lowering the Xbox to 720p output and if that doesn't work try switching to standard def.
If I have to play on standard def though I start to wonder if its worth it. I've also toyed with the idea of buying a cheap used Xbox.
In closing fuck rockstar. This is a joke.

Or you could just build yourself a pc that you wont have to upgrade for years. Unless I want to, which I will, I won't need to upgrade my pc for about 3-4 years. Maybe more, maybe less. I'm just sayin! xD

Don't get me wrong the game looks and is amazing, but I can't believe there are so many technical issues. You'd think they would have this figured out. They've made a handful of good games for both consoles and they've both been around for roughly 8 years. I would think they would have a better understanding of the system unless they were forced to put the game out before it was ready because of the new consoles.

I like what I'll been seeing and hearing about the game. . . I've also been hearing a lot about lag, glitches and pixel issues too. This game BUSTED $1 billion dollars in sale in ONLY 3 days. . . unreal. I'm still going to wait but happy for those of you who've experienced NO issues what so ever. . .

So... I have to take back some of what I said. The issue, for now, seems to be a defective hard drive. We bought a second hard drive because the first one was full. Things were installed as recommended. After installing the install disk on a USB drive it seems to work.
I still stand by some things though. There seems to be more issues with this game than any other and I feel like rockstar could have done a far better job with this.
None the less I'm happy ill be able to play it when my work week is done.

I only installed the install disk to the hdd. The play disk was on a USB or in the disk drive. Now both disks are on a USB.

Oh I know. They're still advertising it to. They can't handle the traffic now, but want more people to use it. That's fucking awesome.
