Alright here is the way I look at it, during the time that the United States went the moon some countries like the Soviet Union were watching us like a hawk, so don't you think that they would say something if we were lying about it

yeah, they should. Since they try to make us believe they went there when at the time cars still had steel dashboards, bench seats, and no seatbelts.

Apollo 11 took 12 rockets to launch? Who's the moron now? not only that, they could have attempted it. I just can't see how it was possible with the technology back then. It doesn't make sense.

considering the landing module had the computing power of a calculator

It makes perfectly good sense, they built a rocket and took it to the moon. If any of you have been watching the news lately, NASA has been planning their next moon landing. They can't really do it with a shuttle because it can't take off on it's own without another method of propulsion. The moon landing was real, look at what Aaron posted....makes sense, another country would have ratted us out by now if we didn't do it. What explains that picture? The last of the rocket would not launch if it wasn't in space. And it don't get anymore real than this. Mythbusters also did an episode on this, here are the results if you'd like to read them. mythbustersresults.com/episode-104-nasa-moon-landing

Eh I watched that Mythbusters about a week ago, still didn't prove nothing for me. It's not that I don't believe it, it's just that I'm not sure

It makes perfectly good sense, they built a rocket and took it to the moon. Well thanks jeeves, my mind is now changed. But it still sounds like bullshyte to me. Everyone who makes an attempt to correct my own theories always fails by telling me the same thing over and over again: their opinion. I already know what proof is out there so no need of showing me either. It still isn't convincing enough for me. Man, I can prove a really good point right now, but I'm not, considering this conversation will get dragged into something else totally irrelevant. Anyway, you do realize 10 years before the apollo 8 launch they just had launched the very first satellite into space? answer me this, how in the world did they invent a satellite, which orbits the earth, then 10 years later invent a spaceship that travelled nearly 400,000 KM's away from earth, then make it all the way back? let me guess, aliens attacked earth in 1938 as well because the radio said so. If you compare data from back then, they failed about 70% of the time just sending out unmanned vessels. It doesn't make sense that the only 2 times they tried were completely successful with humans onboard. Sorta like what luke said, it's just that I don't know for sure. And everytime I think about it, it makes less sense to me.

Ok, it seems as you ar underestimating the technology of that time, do you realise that back in the 1950's they already had, tv's, HUD's and much more technologically advanced things in cars, and that it took them 50 years to actually sell it with the cars? I hate to break your bubble Chris, but they also had cars that drove themselves back then, just like we do now. (seen on discovery) Lets go a little further shall we, late 1800's early 1900's the human kind had actually electric cars. Fully functioning, electric cars that were really popular and got sold a lot. Chris maybe the computers only had the computing power of a today's calculator, but think about it, you don't need any more, when the math is done by people on the ground before launch, and only have to give "standards" to make the mission a succes. All you need is grades, time, speeds and sectors. Yes people, they actually divided our space into sectors, a very long time ago, and they work the same way as we use our pinpointing positions, just by throwing together a combination of a few seperated numbers which represent Km's of even hundreds and thousands of Km's, you can pinpoint exactly where something is. Don't forget that the earth is turning around the sun and so is the rest except for the stars, they use main stars to navigate themselves through space and to keep track of these sectors I was talking about. It seriously isn't that much of a thoery, it's just logics. And last but not least, why do you think people would come up with "It's not rocketscience"? Because everything that is, is complicated shit and only preformed by studied masters of the art of rocket science.

The main point for me is that it would've been THE victory of communism if they found out that the evil USA never was on the moon. And you can bet your ass that they watched you very narrowly!!
Next thing is, that the Russians brought some moon rocks to earth with a few unmanned flights. And they approved that the USA has the same material. But if the US had to bring the 385 kilograms with the same robots as the Russians did, they had to start over 1000 flights?!
And the last thing is the dimension of the Apollo program: - 25 billion dollars (120 billions nowadays) - 400 000 people worked only on that missions
For me it's a very good example what mankind can do if they have a vision...

Well I dunno, I'm not saying you guys are wrong. Definitely not. I just don't see how your theories make sense considering the technological point we were at during that time. My point is exactly what you're saying row. Space is very complicated, science in general is always complicated. This is the WHOLE REASON why I'm astounded that people can believe the moon landing is real. Not even the moon landing, sending humans into space. I'm sick of giving examples, And you guys know what I mean because I already gave a few examples. All I'm telling you, is this isn't convincing me. And I'm not some dumb idiot who goes around watching stupid videos on the internet such as this one, thinking the moon landing was a hoax.
I just don't see how microwave technology for cooking food was introduced the same time they sent humans 400,000 km's away into deep space. I also think it's weird how they haven't been back there yet too. The whole thing seems fishy, not necessarily fake.

I'm sorry but I'm sick of this shit about if we did or didn't go to the moon, why the hell do half you you even care, most of the people arguing in this convo aren't even from the United States, just my 2 cents take it as you want
Why don't you all go back to the 1960's and find out first hand, until then this arguing about it isn't going to prove a dang thing
Edit: And come somebody please pick on a conspiracy from another county, I'm so sick of it being my country that gets everybody's shit, I'm sure there are plenty of other countries that we could find some sketchy facts from

I honestly think we went, I honestly think our country has better things to do then lie about going to the moon, yeah they lie about everything else but do you seriously think they would lie about something that big, I mean do you know how easy it would be for the countries that hate us to find out we were faking it, and also those videos Andre just showed makes me believe it even more, I didn't ever think it was staged and you better give me some outstanding proof against to ever make me think otherwise
And what Latif said, yeah I think it is because everybody just hates us, yeah we do bad but do you know how much good we do for the world, and all we get in return is hatred, well right back at you people, we shall return the favor
