I eat canned tuna fish like 5 times a week. I like baked fish, and some other types. But raw fish is disgusting.

Ya man fish is dope.I'm sure some will agree there's no better than a little left coast salmon. I don't mind raw fish either like in sushi and enagi and what not. Did the oil spill directly affect you in Florida Harold or did it just hurt fish stocks.

Fish=...Tasty. Fried baked everything. I live close enough to the gulf that I can fresh oily fish! The best fish comes from various mexican lakes. Its not commercial more like one guy selling to the whole town.

Damn, nice Caprice. They don't make em like that anymore. I love those seats. My grandfather had a Caprice with those back in the early 90's. Friggin so comfortable. I honestly don't mind the red interior. It just makes it a classic. Before his 90's Caprice my grandfather had an 80's one exactly like this, same colors and everything. Me and my cousin might try and find this gen Fleetwood this spring and buy it for a project car. Either this or a late 70's Coupe Deville. Goddamn beasts. Gotta love them square-gens, both Caprice and Brougham. But why a Coupe deVille? The four-door versions look damn good if not better , they do that big body more justice than a two door IMO. And while on the subject of late 70's Cadillacs, here are pictures of the '78 Sedan deVille we used as a family car back in '99. And, the Cadillac Seville '77 we used as a family car in '93-94. Man that car was MINT, even though we put it through the Swedish winters it was still MINT when we sold it. What a terrific example of american craftsmanship that car was. Do note my father and his awesome 80's glasses in this picture. Note our neighbours GMC Van, which was also mint. I still se tons of these vans around, man they were popular over here. Still kinda are.

Man that Sedan Deville is AWESOME I'm so jealous lol. What ended up happening to it? I'm really glad to see some people from other countries appreciate old American cars Well if we look for a Coupe Deville we want to find a Phaeton package, because they are really rare. Truth is we probably won't find one around here. So we will probably end up looking for a Fleetwood or Sedan Deville. There is actually a late 70's Sedan Deville sitting in a little dirt parkinglot in the town my cousin lives in, which has just been sitting there decaying for years. No for sale sign or anything. Really bugs me lol. If I thought for a second that it runs I would pay to have it towed to my uncles place. Maybe tomorrow I'll take a couple pics of it if I'm bored in the afternoon. Here's a Phaeton CD, from the movie Goodfellas. Has a factory CB radio. I'm crazy about this generation Fleetwood but for now we are probably going to get something a bit older.

YES, the '93+ Fleetwoods, they are the best looking cars ever built, followed by the '75-77 Sevilles. Get some pictures of the Sedan deVille! I Can't decide which I like the best, the late 70's full-size Cadillacs or the 90-92 ones. And, about our Sedan deVille. We drove that car year around, and seing as Sweden throws salt all over the roads in the wintertime, she started showing some signs of that. My father sanded the surface rust that had appeard on both rear fenders (There was no other rust on it, just on them rear fenders) and put some matte-red primer on there. Still, she wasnt so bad and we managed to sell it for 25000 Swedish kroner. She was a California import, so it was rust free when we got it. Man it was a nice car. I looked up the plates at the Swedish DMW and now-a-days it's apparantly black so it is probably in the hands of some greaser who could'nt afford a '63 Impala to trash. It's probably in this condition by now. Yes, the Swedish greasers do this to american cars. Here, have another example of a '63 Bel Air. Sad part is people appriciate the cars when they look like this. Yeah, I'm moving to the states after school.

Yeah I'd cry if I ever had to get rid of that Sedan Deville you had. Rust is the worst car killer.
But I agree that last gen Fleetwood is just gorgeous, might be my favorite car of all time. People around my/our age look at me like I'm crazy but I would take a '96 Fleetwood over a Ferrari without thought. I don't know if you've ever seen one in person but they are a hell of a sight. They almost look like a car a villain would drive in a Batman movie or something. Absolutely huge and powerful looking when you see it in person. They just don't make cars with character and presence like that anymore.
I will try to get some pics of the abandoned Caddy near me today, it's probably in the condition of the car those greasers have by now lol.
I personally don't approve of doing that to classic cars, but I guess some people consider it "art" lol.
When you come to the states make sure to move somwhere that doesn't get a lot of snow ;D

My father has some friends in Cali, so I've got my sights on The Golden State. He'll try to help me get started. I have actually seen a few 93+ Fleetwoods! Last one was a white one, which I suspect a Lawyer in a very nice, if not the nicest, area in Stockholm owns. How do I know that? Because he showed me this '92 Brougham he was selling. Anyways yes the '93+'s is a sight to behold. Such striking cars. I can't belive people started buying cars like the Cadillac CTS instead of Fleetwood Broughams. Those cars just scream luxury and power.

That thing would make a great project car to restore to it's original condition, I'd buy it in a heartbeat! Looks surprisingly good body-wise, although rust under vinyl tops is always worrying. That's the reason I did'nt buy the Cadillac that the lawyer was selling. Yeah Cadillac had to respond to what the public wanted, any business who does not do that has a very small chance of surviving. It surprises me that people did not want cars like the Brougham though, seing as it is, at least for me, the ultimate luxury car. You can't misstake it for anything else, unlike the CTS for example. I consider the Last generation Brougham to be the last real Cadillac, and the DTS/Deville to be the last worthy of the Cadillac name. I really dislike what Cadillac has become, but I guess that the american car that I and so many other people like has gone away and will never come back. I think that now, with the cancellation of Fords Panther-platform, an era of the american auto-industry ends. Now, I have not yet commented on your Cadillac, and I can't figure out why the hell not. I really like the look of your DTS. The details like the standing hood emblem and all of the other emblems give it that personal touch that is so important in a luxury car. Have you considered white striped tires? I think it would look great! I know that you were not able to chose at the time of the purchase, but don't you think a column-shifter would have been more awesome? Overall it's a great looking car though, thumbs up man!

Yeah it would really make a good project car. If the frame and motor were in good condition I would think of trying to contact whoever was selling it. I'm not sure what the business is behind the car (you can see the reflection of it in the glass) but I might go there soon with my cousin and ask them if they know anything about it. Hell I have a hunch they might even be the ones who put it there because there are a few other old cars sitting around their parking area like the Caddy.
Thanks for the compliment on my car. I did add those little details to give it the old school feeling. It's little details like the wreath around the drivers door keyhole on those 70's Caddy's that I love. Now a days they sacrifice that good old quality. I get a lot of compliments on it, people especially seem to like the color lol. I saw a car like mine with white wall tires the other day and it looked pretty cool. Maybe the next time I need tires I'll look into it. I prob won't need tires for a while though since these were brand new when I bought the car. Next winter I might get some snow tires for it to use just in the winter time. The ones I have now are made for cruising really.
My car is the DTS package (Deville Touring Sedan), which only came with a center console shifter. The base Deville came with the column shifter. In '06 they dropped the Deville name completely and just decided to call it DTS to match all the other names. I really do like the Deville and DTS. The 2000-2005 Deville was a perfect redesign IMO. A perfect mix of modern and older designs. And best of all it stands out. The back of that car is completely unmistakable against anything, especially at night when the tail lights are all lit up. The DTS is my favorite new Cadillac. While the styling of the all new CTS-V is nothing like an old school Caddy, I'm still impressed with what Cadillac has done with it because they are wipping the competition with price/performance and styling and that's what matters these days. So even though it looks and feels nothing like an old Caddy it still continues the tradition of kicking ass. But sadly I think you're right about the end of an era with with the loss of the old school American car.

Those aren't real greasers, they're fags.
Real greasers appreciate all old cars and bikes, and don't make wrecks of them. They might make bare bone cars, but that's always in a way that stays true to the 40's and 50's hot rods. Most of the time the rusty "rat rods" also aren't made by real greasers but by these new fangled half assed "rocker dudes" who think they're greaser cus they cuff their jeans and where chucks and plaids.

Yeah good point. Real greasers from the 50's didn't trash cars, they fixed them up. They lived in the garage, basically why they were called greasers lol. That along with the hair.

Well, welcome to Sweden guys. Where having a '63 Bel Air four-door with a post that's fucked beyond repair is cooler than having one in good condition.

It hurts Not only because I want an american car really bad, but also because they give greasers a bad name whilst they're not even real greasers. They should be kicked in the head for that, I'd pick fights with every one of them. It's just ruining good car heratige. I'm fine with funny paint jobs because they're reversable, but I'm not fine with fucking up a car so bad it will be rotten away in 5 years.

Yep. It's one thing when you see an old abandoned car that's beat up and rotting out by nature, but when people purposely do it to an otherwise fine car...

Got some shitty weather tonight and tomorrow and a big storm coming Christmas night so today I said fuck it and I just bought snow tires. And having all 4 wheels aligned. They should make a huge difference compared to the ones I have now.
