I just had to go sit inside one last spring at some car dealer. Still have nighmares from it.. You think it was terrible? You should try to survive one hour inside FIAT ;D I remember when I went with my dad check out what a shit came out and I almost broke my arm trying to move seat back... Fiats arent allowed in my family anymore lol. Every single one of them has been totalled either by log trucks, grandpas or wildlife. The last fiat we had for 1 week and then ran it into a deer. The deer survived but the car didnt...

Hey CVP71, seen these videos? I seem to recall you liking this generation Fleetwood.

I've seen the second two but not the first one. The first vid is really cool, epic car. The look of that beast coming down the street is like nothing else. If Jesus came to earth again they'd have to drive him around in a Fleetwood. I loled at the part of the vid about safety features too thinking about how badly fucked any car that hit a Fleetwood would be. They made all of those cars out of galvanized steel not to mention the reinforced chassis and side panels. 7,000 pound towing package. That car is the definition of a Cadillac.

It's too bad most cars don't even have a solid 1 piece frame anymore. My grandma's boyfriend back in the early 90's had a car just like in the video, except it was black and had 5 star rims.

Oh I know man. I miss the 90's. I was young in the early 90's but it was a much better decade than now. Even just watching the old school 90's video makes me nostalgic lol.
I think Fleetwood was the last Cadillac that had the old time craftsmanship and reliability that you just don't get in cars these days. It may not have all the electronic bells and whistles of newer shit but it has everything you need, variable steering assist, power everything, digital dash, climate control etc, and best of all was probably the most comfortable smoothest riding Cadillac ever built. And that 5.7 LT1 is such a good motor. Damn solid car. In a couple years if I can find one that's in decent shape for under 2 grand I might try and get it.
Edit: Here's another good vid, right before they put in the LT1

Does anyone else think it's kind of rediculou how Hyundai literally just outright copies companies like Mercedes and Cadillac, almost as if to rub it in their faces. I mean we all know companies "borrow" ideas and get inspiration from others but what Hyundai does is just fuckin rediculous.

Why don't we have a thread just for cars because that's all people really post here about

Because we'd end up with tons of threads. this thread is also for arguements and discussions that people tend to have in the wrong threads

I just discovered the Ford Elite the other day. Man what cool looking cars! Love the Fords of the 70's. Just look at it, it screams 70's! The cars of the 70's are really just waiting to be discovered. In my book the best american cars were built after 1973.

Depends on the mood; I'll go through a blues phase and breakout some of BB Kings early work as well as Buddy Guy, Clapton, Albert King There is also other times where I'll go through a Metallica phase, but lately, I've been listening to quite a bit of the newer Christian stuff, Third Day (huge fan of their work), Newsboys, Toby Mac, Kutless

I also enjoy listening to some hard rock from the 70's. I go through different kinds of music, just to go through them again years later. But I like everything. The only thing I don't like is gay techno and country. I think the only country or techno songs I've liked are borderline, and not really full blown of either. And of course, I hate pop. Especially the garbage they've been throwing at us for the past 10 or so years.
