Damn datrucking, you have some really nice trucks, where did you get that Marten one? If it's DCP I didn't know that they made one.

Hey Lonestar, thanks!! Now about that Marten is not a DCP, it's a PEM but it still looks good. I wish DCP would make a white Marten Prostar like the one I saw at a truck stop this week. I got it fro a member in another forum. Here's a NFI Freightliner

bigrigdriver, I think it's easy to say they back them one at a time. Unless you're a super trucker. Lol! I remember when we lived in Perris, CA and my dad had an account with Color Spot Nurseries in Fallbrook, CA. He would hook up to two pups full of flowers and he would drop them off in a yard in Phoenix. And then he would hook up to two empty pups and bring them back to Fallbrook. He never once had to back up with them pups. He would go around the back of the yard and drop the pups facing the exit. And when he would picked them up they were already facing the exit. Made it easy to just drop and hook. iceroad2. Thanks! I mostly get my trucks off ebay and two authorized dealers too. Btw..They do make tie down straps and chains for heavy haul trucks. Here are my straps and chains. Wish the straps were yellow like we see on the road all the time.

I did actually see a Roadway driver back a set of doubles into a loading dock in Ohio, and I have seen a few back into spots at truck stops. But that Roadway driver bumping the dock was really impressive.

It would be impressive, but I would think the back them in one at a time, being they have to be split to unload anyway.

The drivers with doubles I would see at the truck stops would only fuel and go. I never saw them backing up to a parking spot. I certaintly wouldn't attempt too. I guess if you do it constantly you'll get the hang of it. Here's a W.L.A. Inc. Intenartional 9400i

Sorry, I took the pictures with my phone. The truck is more like a light purple color instead of a blue you see.

It would be impressive, but I would think the back them in one at a time, being they have to be split to unload anyway. They usually do split them first, why waste time backing both when you have to split to unload anyway? My dad can back both, but only to park if a truck stop is full or something.

What if your only unloading the rear trailer at the stop, how would it be a waste then?
