I've always wanted to do something like this myself, but I never could bring myself to tear apart a perfectly good DCP truck. Others, They're torn apart in different piles and drawers, but not a DCP truck. Closest I've ever got was taking a cab off to replace an air horn.....which I FUCKING BROKE TRYING TO GET ON.......got any spare air horns?

Trucks I have torn apart.....Revell 1/25 359 kit I made some time ago. Got broken and never really fixed it. Doing a total rebuild on it. 1/24 metal kit I build a long time ago, 378 with a 63" standup that screws together. Same case with it as the 359. The other truck I have torn to pieces in my desk is a 1/32 379 with about a 110"-120" sleeper and a 350" wheelbase. Going to repaint it come spring. I also have a 1/25 Moebius (or something similar in spelling) International Lonestar. It's in the process of being built. I have a 1/24 389 conversion kit I bought for my next build. You can see my 377 and some of my Lonestar here: truckmodshop.proboards.com/thread/3868/truck-models-1-25th-scale

Well after hours, days, months, and years of searching I finally found a Western Dist triple set. One more DCP Western truck to go to complete the fleet.

I can't wait to see a K100 and get your opinion on it! I'd like to get one sometime! So far I have skipped on the K-100's. I'm hoping we see one for the bigger fleets like Heaatland Express and I'll definitely get one.

Ya, my silver monaco DCP has a broken mirror, and the mirror stud is stuck in the hole and I cannot get it out...I couldn't tear apart a good DCP either, unless I got it for a few bucks.

I bought a cab for $7 off ebay, I replaced one of the horns just fine, but the other I broke off. Now it's just sitting on a shelf without an interior waiting on a new air horn. It was a truck I bought about 5 years ago probably. It's a blue and cream 379 with blue flames, headache rack, fenders and frame were blue too. I havn't seen one the same since. It came with a matching flatbed and a sack load.

I like the cabover KW. Is it very detailed? I saw some of the flatops and they just seemed to look like a box.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't detailed...DCP is known for great detail.
