Where did you get that Walmart daycab??? It's a custom decal truck I made. This goes back to what I said about DCP not doing trucks for the big companies like Walmart, Prime Inc. Swift etc. Maybe the economy has something to do with it, so those companies aren't interested in having a truck made but then again Tonkin is always releasing those companies and they even have the Kenworth T700. I had the idea of making that Walmart day cab and I think it looks good. Here's another Central Refrigerated, it's the show truck KW 900L Pure Punishment

Same here Lonestar! The only new DCP releases I have bought so far these year are the vintage Western and the Crete trucks with the skirts and that's it. Lately I have been buying older releases. I came across this beauty Western Dist. KW900L day cab with a reefer trailer Now I got to look for the other W900 with the flatbed trailer

I really need more Western trucks in my fleet. I got the vintage truck, but missed out on the LoneStar. I'm really wanting more company releases and the new K100 they are wantin to come out with. I've also been hunting TMCs and the rare 379X edition truck.

I believe I'm missing four of the Western trucks which are the first four trucks DCP produced for Western Dist and they're harder to find and go for big $ when they appear on eBay. I'm also trying to get the two Western trucks that PEM produced. Here's another Western Pete 379

I'm really wanting more company releases and the new K100 Hey Lonestar, that sucks that you missed out on the Lonestar. I'm glad I bought two when they first came out. Now they're sold out and I saw one on eBay go for $350. I'm also waiting for the K100 but was disappointed when I found out it's not going to be release till next year now. Here's some pics of my Western Lonestar and my 389 And the KW900 auto transporter

hmm auto transporter with a reefer unit I know it seems weird but it's pretty simple. Western didn't want to cough up the money for new tooling on a auto transporter trailer so they settle with what DCP had. And if it cost the same for a dry van and a reefer well they obviously went with the better option, the reefer. One thing I've learn about this is that DCP ain't going to spend money on new tooling unless the customer provides it. That's why we have yet to see a T700, T660, and even a T800. Once one customer hands them the money for new tooling then other customers will be able to get the trucks they want without having to pay for tooling. It sucks for us the collectors but that's the way it is with DCP. I wish they would be more risky and create all types of trucks and trailers

I think a big part of it is, the other companies come in with lower bids, and DCP is not willing to go lower, whether it be because they do not want to compromise their quality or other reasons. Just a thought though; by the datrucking; you got a helluva collection

In real life I would rather have a reefer than an auto trailer that way I could backhaul some Coors beer, Jason, I think there's more factors besides what we pointed out. Hope the economy gets better so they wont be scared of putting out new trucks. oh well I'm going to keep collecting till I get bored.

That USA Truck 387 has definitely moved up my favorites list. Here's another Mesilla Valley truck, it's a ProStar.
