yeah its been costing us about $2500 in fuel to run from Cali to NYC but the loads have been paying pretty decent we've been hauling frozen seafood with drops in Arizona maryland tenn and a few stops in the NYC not bad, and I agree with you I hope the produce market saves us in the spring coming out of farmers market.

As long as there's freight to get you moving you should have no problem staying in business. Just don't haul cheap a$$ freight. I laugh when they offer me loads under a buck per mile when freaking diesel is well over 3 bucks everywhere. I just tell them straight out, is the truck yours or mine. For that amount buy your own truck to move that stuff. Can't wait til the produce starts coming out of Cali. Rates will get better from there. Alot of work in and out of san antonio. HEB is king but they have parkway.

San Antonio is dead for us outbound wise. Inbound is good. All the stuff out of here is local Texas loads or long haul loads are covered by the bigger companies. We just go down south to load in Pearsall or maybe Laredo. Right now there's a lot of loads out of McAllen and Laredo, even from Galveston or Freeport. I dont even think Parkway is a that big of player outside of HEBs shadow in San Antonio. We have a friend that leased to them and he would always have to go empty to Cali to load HEB loads to bring them to San Antone. He got out. He wasn't really making money going empty.

Parkway is cheap as can be. Heb has smaller contractors like you said making really good money. We tried to get into that but the source didn't want to help out. What is loaded in pearsall small ass town lol.

Believe it or not they have loads almost all year long of green beans. Well it's just one shipper I know that has loads. The rest of that town I don't know. Sometimes even in La Pryor there's cabbage loads. Uvalde has loads of cucumbers and cabbage but sometimes they're cheap. My father had plans on leasing onto parkway too but change his mind.

Here's another Crete Cascadia. Now you might be like, hey you already posted this one a while back. But no this is a newly released truck. There's just two differences from the other one. One is really obvious the other one not so. I'll let you guys spot them.

this one has skirts on the truck other one does not they should put on site truck has skirts so people do not think the trailer has skirts

There's one Undertaker, and you get an extra point for pointing the skirt description on the website. They have no photo and The way they have it in the title makes you think it's the trailer with the skirt but it's the tractor that has the skirt. Now DCP is on the drawing board in creating a skirt trailer but nothing is set in stone. I personally hate the skirts on the real trailers but wouldn't mind a DCP model having the skirts.
There's one more thing differently. Any guess?

I can't see it...maybe singles on the drives? I like this version better, where did you order from? Also, I didn't know DCP had APU's on their trucks now.

No singles. There's been a few trucks with the APU, like the dhl cascadia, and Both Crete and shaffer cascadias.

Lonestar, I purchased it at the crete carrier online store. Some people dont like the skirts on the tractor but I do so it's nice that they came up with this option. now I have to purchase the prostar and the shaffer cascadia and prostar.
