Have you tried setting up the nVidia Control Pannel Anti Aliasing or whatever it's called. I put my shit on max, and it works fine.

Not always the video card. My graphics still look just as good as anyone else's even with my old card. I got a good monitor. I noticed though, nvidia just don't have as good graphics for how powerful their cards are portrayed.
Anyways, corey, your graphics look pretty damn good to me.

just make sure you have the latest drivers off of the nvidia site and make sure on your nhancer settings that it is allowed to overwrite ANY setting. This should be on the toolbar on top somewhere where you can tell it to overwrite everything. I have an ATI HD4890 now, got rid of my 8800gt, so i don't have the nhancer thing anymore, but i know that setting is there, just try and find it
It should be in the nhancer toolbar somewhere, and under one of em, you should be able to check overwrite any game settings or something like that.
Good Luck

I have recently gotten a new computer as my other one was giving me less than adequate performance for the operations I was engaging in. However, upon receiving the system I quickly became conscious that I was uncertain of the definition of my GPU's ports. Here's an image: Could someone here enlighten me by telling me what they are, and what DVI lead I will need to connect my GPU to this monitor: www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/lg-w2353v-23-widescreen-lcd-monitor-03864797-pdt.htmlThanks, Myke

Aight, I realize you have a stupid question and you're trying to sound smart by using super proper english.. I understand.. we all sometimes do that. But really.. all you had to do was to try one.. turn on the computer.. see what it does.. try the other.. turn on the computer.. see what it does... Im willing to be they both work, so dont play yourself out like a jerry curl next time plz

^lol
Myke, there basically ports for your monitor. Its where you'll put your monitor input for now on. Either one will work. They put 2 in for if you have 2 displays. Usually when you buy a GPU it comes with a converter for that, so if you have a older monitor (like mine but its still a flatscreen), you can still use it.

But really.. all you had to do was to try one.. turn on the computer.. see what it does.. try the other.. turn on the computer.. see what it does... Im willing to be they both work, so dont play yourself out like a jerry curl next time plz How does using "proper" (my English is far from proper) English ascertain that I am trying to sound smart? This is a preposterous argument. It is homogeneous to me implying that you are trying to portray yourself as being “smart” by making models that most others are incapable of making. This is hypothetical, and I would never make such an accusation because I've been around a while, and know better. It's second nature for you to produce such quality, as it is second nature for me to express myself with the language I use. Perhaps you should think a little more before coming to such extraneous and absurd assumptions. I simply think of a way to word my question, and then post it. There is no word play going on here, and it perplexes me why you'd think there was. Secondly, the problem is I can't test whether a signal is being properly transmitted from computer to monitor, as I have neither the monitor nor the DVI cable which would make the transmission possible. This is why I asked the question, before dedicating such a large amount of money on something which may not function on arrival. Cedric – thanks. I am aware of what their functionality is. I was just unsure of what type of lead I need. From my understanding, there are at least three varieties of DVI – DVI-D, DVI-I, and DVI-A – this is where I became lost. Since posing this question I have been browsing numerous forums and blogs, and believe I have deciphered what the properties of each type are. Thanks for the help, Myke

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good gaming laptop, a nice card and that can run games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Grand Theft Auto 4, 18 Wheels of Steel Haulin, etc. I did some research found a laptop for $600.00 on the Best Buy site. I was just asking if there is any other good ones for cheaper or the same price, but not from eBay or something. Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry's, any electronics store like that.
Thanks.

You think a desktop is expensive for gaming, well a laptop will never perform as well for gaming as a desktop can. So if you want top performance and graphic quality, be ready to fork out some serious dough. Anyways, my sister's boyfriend has a decent laptop. I dunno how well it would run rig n roll, but it supports some alright graphics. I tried running team fortress 2 on it with high graphics, and it performs considerably less than my desktop does and both graphics cards are roughly closely spec'd. His wasn't terribly expensive, but like I said before, if you want performance you have to go with something high end in terms of laptops.
