Anytime i play ets2 i get the blue screen of death which is the video scheduler.
I've tried everything to DDU'ing the graphics driver for nvidia, updating windows, updating all my drivers including the Intel stuff but its a no go even with an older version of nvidia drivers. I even went to the lengths of running the command prompts to repair any corrupted files.
Any ideas? I even tried resetting my PC to the factory state but i still get the error, i know it may be a corrupted video driver. But all my fixes to date seem to have worked but not for ets2, every other game doesn't get this blue screen, im stumped. For example gta 5, f1 2017, cod, fs17, ATS etc etc.
Any suggestions would be great.. My graphics card is a Nvidia gtx 1060, I've tried every tutorial i could think of, im on the verge of going back to windows 7 or throwing this dam thing under a semi lol.

Maybe memory sticks went bad? I had something similar happen to me a while ago and it's because the memory finally gave out. Give those a test and see if they come up good or not.

I don't get a blue screen in ets2 now but for example when I pause the game, check the map I get a black screen when I select drive. Butt I can alt delete out of it and end the process. I assume it's a bug in 1.28 version..

Another possible cause is the graphics card overheating. That happened to me last month during our heatwave.

Another possible cause is the graphics card overheating. That happened to me last month during our heatwave. Well in the end I inspected the card(which i should've done first). One of the 3 dual fans had all there fan ducs snapped off. Replacement is on the way, i never noticed my power supply lead was running under the bottom of it and must've caught it. I ran the msi after burner, it wasn't getting to hot in any game, but now I've only realized the awful noise it makes. I mean hell i could remove one fan and it should be fine. But the card was under warranty anyway so.. Not taking the risk and got one to be delivered tomorrow.
