is it a custom color or factory for another vehicle? Its duplicolor deep blue metallic paint you can buy from advanced or autozone. Can only buy it in quarts though. Its 25.99 a quart. I used three and a half quarts to do my truck. Its nice cause you dont have to put hardner or thinner in it. Its premixed so you just dump it in your gun and spray. Just gotta make sure you stir it up really good being metallic paint. This is only base coat. I read alot of reviews on the duplicolor clear coat and read its not that good. I used clear coat from a local paint store from my area to clear it. Had to mix the clear and get all the ratios right on that though. m.advanceautoparts.com/h5/r/shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/duplicolor-paint-shop-deep-blue-metallic-32-oz.-quart-bsp204/7141546-P

These are in pretty nice shape other then the small dent on the one. Not too noticable though. And yes, their metal. Im not buying those cheap plastic ones lol

Bought some 1/4" chrome fender trim. Wasnt sure if i was going to like it at first, but i think it looks pretty nice on there. Its not overkill, to me atleast. Ill get better pics tomorrow.

holy fuck no time wasted puttin those in, i would have cried doing that to the paint lol Haha, i actually had to fix the paint on both fenders anyways. One had a nice scratch and the other had a mark where i sanded the blue and thought the clear would cover it. Found out you cant sand metallic paint and then clear it like you can with regular paint haha.

Still need to smooth it out more yet. But its turning out awsome. Also put the orange reflective lenses back in the emblems for now till I make my own clear lenses. Sorta looks funny without the grill on it lol

Yea, i put it above and below the body line, niether looked as good as right on the body line. Once i get the fender sanded and smoothed out more and painted blue again, its going to look 500 times better. And once the truck is finally back together also haha

Heres the paint I used to paint it. And I have the fenders ready to be painted, just got to get a nice enough day to do it.

So i need some opinions. Thinking about doing a paint scheme like older pickups. I will use chrome trim to break up the while and blue like the trim on my fenders. I think it will make the truck look older then what it is, but in a good way. Let me know what ya think. Thanks

Thanks man. Got the lights working and the temp gauge hooked up. Gotta figure out fuel, amp and oil pressure yet.
