Hey guys, Do any of you guys know the file binaries for those files ? I have deciphered the first few bytes of the pmg( 1349347089), tested and confirmed them. The process is a bit tedious, so I am hoping someone might know them. Pmg First 56 Bytes. I am missing the bone(used for animation in anim.pmg) count. I seem to have overlooked it in the graphic.

What's the point? are you making changes to an export filter or something?

Yes. A batch tool for blender or Max.

Would be pretty cool if someone (Other then whoever has already done it, I don't know the name) would make a zmod Animation plugin, Not sure if you do Zmod modding or whatever but would definitely something to look into.

There is one, but it's very private. Or you could buy zm3 license and move to a newer game.

Cory Zmod 2 does not have any animation tools(bones, keyframes etc) which is why I believe Oleg never released a PMA Export, not because he didn't understand the file structure. Building Such a plugin would be a monster task, far too complex for me as I don't know the inner workings. However Blender & Max already have animation tools built in, so the task would be much much easier. I don't know of the plugin your talking about so I can't comment, maybe it was an import filter for say directX(.x) which already has the animation data? Someone pointed Blender2SCS out to me. I have had a look at the source code in the PMG Import, the first few bytes in both ALH and ETS2 are similar, confirming my tests. I have also looked at the pmc/pmd/pma source too, looks like Simon Lusenc has done most of the ground work, here is his PMA headers I will still need to confirm they are the same as ALH, I highly doubt it, but should be a good head start.

hydraulics , I didn't realize that Zmod 2 didn't have Animation tools. I figured Max and blender had them due to the complexity of the program it self. I'm sure some of the Haulin Community (Bout the only damn game that doesn't have the ability to have animations without major Coding work) Wouldn't mind buying (Or Getting the student version) of Max in order to get better animations. I bought 3ds back in 08' cause I wanted to change over to it with GTA SA modding but ended up wasting that money when I came back to the Haulin Community. I would still like to get my use out of 3ds even if it's just for animations or whatever else it could possibly help me conquer in the crazy modding world that's afoot. Keep us updated with your progress, I'm sure quite a few people would be happy to hear about you working on this stuff.

If you have purchased Max, then stick with it, otherwise I would suggest blender for its simplicity, Simplicity in user experience, not functionality. Blender can do EVERYTHING Maya/Max can do, in terms of Game Asset Development.
Blender is built on Python, Max is Built on C++ but has a Python pipeline. So coding for both should be generic enough.

Not so much ◇Danny◇ mate, I can push on with things, once I understand the file structures(pma/pmc/pmd/pmg/pdd) which will take up most of the time, hence the post here..
