Yep american version. No more of these boring boxes on wheels, we need some real rigs to drive around in.

It sounds like multiplayer the way they describe it, but it could go the other way and be like an scs version of xfire. Like, it'll be a game where your statistics are uploaded to a profile and some kind of chat client, stupid shit like that.
I've said at some point that I'm at least glad they're not valu-soft's bitch anymore, but now they're getting REALLY weird. I'm wondering what else they've done for ATS though. They need to update on that.

I was thinking about it last night and I bet they do a pretty good job on ats. I can't honestly find anything wrong with ets2 other than maybe a few scaling issues. The maps look good he physics are great what more can you ask for. If they do an ats to the same caliber then i think we'll be fine.

Want to see American truck sim updates, but I can understand scs trying to focus on ETS 2 and getting patches to pacify the hardcore cranks and wackos that post. Really, like the post of reconfiguring the interface and code on ETS 2 where multiple teams can work on the same maps and getting the developers to use bump mapping to reduce polygons used. Just making incremental improvements in code, shading, using today technology more efficiently go a long way to have run smoother.

I love how they say they're taking their time with stuff but yet they are trying to work on 5 things at once.

It is what it is. I'm sure like anything they need a break from the same project day in and day out just to get a fresh take on things.

Well ValuSoft is the publisher for the US portion of SCS' games, maybe if enough people push ValuSoft, then we can see an American Truck Simulator from SCS.

Valusoft was owned by THQ which went bankrupt... Darn! :L well I did notice that they're under some new name, ValuSoft Cosmi, and sure enough they're still selling Haulin', ALH, they even have R'n'R on there lol. I wonder if they're thinking about getting a fresher US Truck game anytime soon, but like they'll ever listen to us

I don think we would want valve soft to have their hands in another scs game be caused the games are rushed and based on what valve soft thinks consumers want in stead of what we really want I'm willin to wait on scs to fund ats with out shitty publishers having any say we don't need another alh or we lol

I was reading the latest blog update and it ends with "and for all those complaining about running out of jobs/trailers in the game, having a legal copy does help." Props to scs for telling the people that scoop the game for free to go pound sand.

I saw a post on another forum about multiplayer for ets2. Now I know there have been many hoaxes over the years, but this one seems the closest thing to legit yet. Apparently there was live streamed beta testing and the article claimed it was in closed beta testing. The pictures looked hard to fake, but now a days who knows anymore. So you know, at least they might get one thing right.

So some interesting news from the blog. I'll start small. 1.14 is said to contain the DAF euro 6 which I know I'm looking forward to. They also hinted at working tag axles in the new update. It was subtle, but they had a lifted axle on the new DAF. Lastly, and probably the biggest price of news is they hired a member of the communities. His position was not listed, but 50keda has started a career with scs. I like the new direction scs is going and have high hopes for future endeavors.

Not sure why they're bothering with different axle combinations when none of them but the 4x2 handle properly.
