Yeah I'm really impressed with just that alone, but I should still keep by guard up. I'm a bit annoyed that the ETS fanboys are getting all bitchy though. Those idiots act as if SCS never did American stuff before and think they shouldn't. They've been given the damn royal treatment for 6 years, I think they need to take it easy and remember that they got 3 teams working on separate shit (I had to remember that too) but at least this time they were able to prove it in one way or another.
Frankly I'm really surprised that of all trucks they could have started with, they chose to do a 579. Looks pretty accurate from what I can see. Just the wheels are really bad. I really hope they don't cut corners on this.

Oh, didn't think they had a twitter.
Well they said it themselves, it's obviously being called ATS. Gettin tired of the idiots on the blog who keep posting "Haulin 2" or "ALH 2" and other corny sequel names, as if they're continuing with 18 WoS.

It would be very hard to pay for a model because pretty much all of them are joint ventures. If you sold one to them everything would have to be scratch made which would take a long time. There's a couple exceptions to this, but for the most part who hasn't used a few pieces from someone else. Really for the bitching and moaning people do we should be donating models.

So when are they going to pay for some of our models? Technically they cant because by the law what we do is kind of copyright infringement to begin with.

Technically they cant because by the law what we do is kind of copyright infringement to begin with. orly? Explain... We are making models of real life trucks and handing them out. Whether we charge or not making them without permission is illegal. Atleast to the best of my knowledge. I may be wrong.

I don't think it would be, I mean if we are building the model from scratch who's rights are we infringing?

I don't think it would be, I mean if we are building the model from scratch who's rights are we infringing? If you are paid for a model with Peterbilt's logo on it, without their express consent, it is illegal. That's why in the past SCS used made-up (but similar looking) truck brands, to make you think of a brand without using it. They're able to use SCANIA and other brand's likenesses now because they have agreements, presumably they paid money for the right to use the logo as part of a product they are being paid for. without those licences, out mods would have to have fake logos too, in order to be sold.

The only thing that upsets me so far about this released picture is the wheels! They put a lot of detail IMO (for scs) into the scenery and the truck/trailer then the slap those half-ass'd wheels on the damn thing.
