They better have learned from Bus Driver that another bus sim isn't a good idea. I have my fingers crossed...Come on baby, AMERICAN TRUCK SIM!

In the rest of the blog post they talk about how they want to work on multiple projects at once, and with a team as small as they do, I'm surprised their taking that route. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see what happens.

I don't know what they've been waiting for. 18 Wheels of Steel is a really good game, but it is so outdated, it's amazing they still sell it. They need an American/Canadian game that is actually realistic in appearance, in driver functions, and in physics. And I personally think, they should just hire some of the guys from here to make their vehicles for them. You guys can do far better than they can in terms of realism and quality.

That would be cool. I know they did less than half ass the trucks in the passed American games, but now with the more detailed models it would be more realistic. I know nothing of Euro trucks. Were the trucks in ETS 2 relatively realistic?? If so that gives me hope in a badass game in the future ;D

And they also should include this truck in the game.

I'd be all for australia. I just hope we'd be able to add left hand drive interiors, I'm not a fan of driving on the wrong side of the road.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see what happens. Oh lord, that means we're fucked. Say hello to ALH 2. I suppose it wouldn't be too bad to see them do a full blown Aussie game, you guys have probably been waiting for your own game far longer than we've been waiting for a new American game. And I know ET2 isn't good enough, because it's probably as boring and small to you as Montana is to us. I'll say this much though, if they take the North American route again, they better put as much effort into that as they have into ETS2. I mean, they've worked with nearly every major truck model and made the right interior for it, recorded the sounds for them, and made accessories to fit them. They didn't half-ass it and put a Volvo interior in a Scania, they each have their own interior. Probably the biggest reason they couldn't do the same for us is because of the fact that they would find it easier coming straight over to the US to do research. However I'm not sure about that, I mean they did a pretty decent job on the old-style Pete interior and the Mack interiors, and they probably just went by pics. I dunno. Don't really care anymore, they'll do whatever they want since I don't see them really keeping in touch with the fans anymore. Back to playing haulin and GTS!
