seriousmods, If there is any way possible, you need to make the 5th wheel slidable on your trucks and sliding tandems on your trailers.. With dural's mod, being able to move the 5th wheel and the tandems would help balance the loads. And yes it is that realistic. He has done one hell of a job bringing realism to the game. I think it is getting very close to being the simulator it was supposed to be. I am going to see if I can make a sliding fifth wheel. And yes, sliding tandems are probably possible too. I agree, Giants should hire him.

Well, I can't keep up with most of you guys, but if you like details, take a look. These are not UV mapped or rendered, but will be soon. And the truck will be in game really soon. first of all, I realized my hood was too long, so I fixed it. It's more like a 4964 now instead of a W900 or Classic XL. I'm tooting my own horn for a bit. Scratch-made fenders Probably spent more than an hour on this alone. Scratch made fifth wheel, slider, and slider trolley (probably not the name for it) New mudflaps and rear lights And a little more of the fifth wheel. If all goes according to plan, this fifth wheel will slide and tip like the real deal!

I'm not very good with texturing and stuff, but we can smooth out some stuff with a bump map or a normal map.
I'll see what I can do. Smooth shading in Blender doesn't always look that great. Thanks, guys.

Sorry for the double post, but I'm excited. I actually made some decent looking wheels 100% by myself! They will be textured soon!

Why 2013 is alot better Edit: fixed it up a little so it worked like the one not to far down the road from me it has the dumping and loading in one the first grain leg feeds the wet bins which feed another grain leg by underground piping that is constantly being piped into the dryer wich then is pumped into the dry bins that is finally piped to a third grain leg for loading trucks also the dry bins will grow tops soon

thanks i plan on making my own map soon for them i just need to collect a few more parts for it like road models and some places like the cargill plant on MAFM decided that i needed a test map so MAFM is getting remodeled i also added a few things like two more dryers so i can run all the fruits at once and then i did some more piping and now their is four gravity feed silo's feed by two grain legs seeming how i didn't want to spend extra cash on one 4 pipe grain leg

Getting there. All textures done by me. (My UV mapping skills are pretty awful, so these colors are just to designate parts of the truck for easy creation of paint schemes.) Since it's a Sketchup model, to make it a decent mod, I have to completely retexture it. So far, it's gone well, but in the interior, I'm having some issues with the gauges. Any tips or texture files would be great. I really could use some vector-style images, cause the ones I'm using currently are a bit blurry and have too much perspective.

I have not a clue, but before I release it, I'll make sure that I get all the credits correct. The internet is kind've soupy sometimes, and some people seem to intentionally forget giving others credit for their work. The only thing I'm taking credit for is my UV mapping with all of its issues.

Scratch made by me from pics of our real trailer except the stands, glad hands, and axles are off other trailers

Alright, folks, I'm trying something new, but the render is so terrible, I'm too embarrassed to post it in the 3d models section. I'm attempting to turn Jon's Pete 377 into a short hood 385 daycab for use as a grain truck. First attempt at shortening the hood. Am I accurate? My goal is like this below
