Very nice man! Did you preorder the new United truck? yes, I pre-order it a week ago. It also help that I'm getting 50% off that truck with Awesome Diecast. Two years ago when this truck was first announced that it was in the works, I pre-order it. A couple a days later my card was charged some insane amounts. I got in contact with Jeff and he apologize and said there was a glitch that mistakenly charged my card instead of another customers card. He credited back the money to my account and he told me he was going to give me a 50% discount on the United truck whenever it was produced for the inconvenience. Well that truck was put on hold for almost two years until it was announced last month that it was almost here. I thought Jeff had forgotten about the deal but I went ahead and contacted and asked him if I would still get half off and he was a man of his word, he gave me a code with the 50% discount. They should be in at the end of this week. Can't wait to get it. |

Very nice! I want to get it, because I've been waiting for it too and it's so limited...but don't wanna spend that much...which is why I haven't gotten a new DCP forever.

Here's my 2009 Peterbilt 389 Western Distributing Transportation Corp. truck and trailer. In the pictures you'll noticed some parts of the truck are broken off. There's a story to that so I'll tell it quickly. I got this truck as a present for Xmas two years ago, placed it on the computer table near the living room, both of my brothers get into a fight over something ridiculous, they knock the table over, everything slides off, including my rig and its trailer AND my PNY GeForce GT 240 graphics card that I spent about $164 or so on, truck pieces are found scattered around and my GPU is split in the middle where the VGA port is at. Didn't know where to buy new parts so it is basically a broken sitting duck. But I finally found a site full of parts for the truck but not the trailer. Anyway, here are the pics:   Pieces of the truck that have snapped off  Red Cummins ISX engine, I think it's an ISX engine  Back end  Left Side  Front left side  Pic of the trailer   Back and inside of the trailer (without flash)  Back and inside of the trailer (with flash)  Closer view  Pic of the trailer mudflaps  Trailer with the trailer jacks down (correct me if I got the name wrong please)  So yeah... I have written down all the new parts I really need and I DO need a new 389 grill, if anyone knows where I can get a new 389 grill please pm me the link to the site |

Just glue those parts back and save on buying new parts. That's what you're basically going to end up doing with the new parts. Now on the 389 grill I would say the same thing contact David at Toy Trucks and more

Now on the 389 grill I would say the same thing contact David at Toy Trucks and more I've already tried and with no success only because I have a cement glue pen and the other broken pieces were thrown away, before now even realizing that I could get replacement parts. I've already removed as much of the pieces that were left broken on the truck, I still kept the mudflaps and such, but I will give David a message and ask if he has the original parts for the 379 and the 389 including its grill. But I am probably more then likely getting a headache rack and half or full metal fenders and shark teeth decals  |

anybody seen the IRT 389s and utilities? If you take the IRT stickers off they are pretty good models, I believe that they are 1/87 scale made by norscot

Well...I accidentally won an auction for a Tonkin 1/53 Con-way Truckload Volvo, the old school red white and blue style..seller was asking $89 for it..I offered $55 thinking he wouldn't accept and he did. Craziness...that's a good price for an older one in the box.

I actually do collect a little bit of 53rd scale trucks, I just haven't lately because both Tonkin and DCP are so expensive. My goal is to get all of the Con-way Tonkins that have been produced, that is actually how I started collecting was with a 1/53 scale Con-way Sterling with pups that Dad gave me. I also have the CFI T600, CCX Sterling with doubles, and the Schneider 2008 or so Ride of Pride. I've actually been waiting for this at a decent price for a long time. I'd still like to see pics of that Kenworth though.

I wanted to collect all the Farmer's Oil trucks. I have the Momma Cried truck, which is the 3rd produced, and I pre-ordered the two W900s they came out with last year, but they accepted too many orders than they had trucks, so I ended up not getting them. They're crazy expensive now...
